Also, like the original commenter mentioned, this character uses masculine pronouns and is referred to using masculine terms by everyone, up to the point of literally hanging out in the men’s bath and being called a boy. I feel like that goes a little beyond cosplay or imitation.

I'll never make qualms about someone referring to this person as a Woman. What I do have issues with is the people who want to argue that if I went up to "Y" who once said exactly this, "So ~~BLANK~~ was a man, So I became a Man too." - "Yo dude, I think you're a really cool guy. he/him blah-blah." "Atashi 'あたし' (I - Feminine)" Is what Morley uses to refer to themselves. This has possible implications. I'll try to be vague here since it's a spoiler for a few characters to Alicia. I don't think I have a solid answer as to what I can say for Morley because I don't know what The Revolutionary Army uses to refer to their comrade, most of the time I believe they just use the name "Morley." Also, fun fact that won't appear in the anime/manga but Morley is another character who escaped Impel Down, with very likely implications this character was some-part of Level 5.5. Which really isn't a stretch as they too are Revolutionaries. There is a few upcoming characters coming up which is certainly going to create more arguments, sadly. One character, who could possibly be the best trans-female representative in this series. One character where, regardless of where YOU put them, I really don't know how the fandom still argues that how I'd use it, if I were speaking to that character, the one that says "I'll use He/Him," that I'm in the wrong if I also will use "He/Him" to refer to said character. I say let people use what they want in regards to meaningful and possible representation for One Piece, maybe even more so if they want to find representation of themselves by some means in this show. That being said, don't fight or argue (but also never comply) against the ones who "know" just exactly how you should refer to characters like Morley or a certain white-haired bonker.

I never like this excuse. Anybody starting a show at episode 800+ should go watch a huge summary of events, not rely on flashbacks. Imagine reading the manga and 90% of it flashbacks back to Alabasta because Vivi appears. I don’t mind flashbacks when they advance the story or like during whole cake island where there was a flashback for the bomb. But using nearly a whole episode is just to drag it out. I’d rather have a fun filler arc than this.
