Maybe this comparison would have worked better before car manufacturers were required to have seatbelts in their cars and it was made law to wear one while in a car. Otherwise it would be like saying that every house needs to come with a gun in it and you have to carry it on you when inside.

2025-02-22 05:48:06 +0000 UTCI have 7 thoughts on this: 1) Probably a good thing I missed this live, the amount of swearing I was doing while watching here was obscene. 2) FFFF-(insert long beep to block expletives) THAT JAGOFF VIC! 3) They’re all to blame, honestly. Nobody stepped up, except with cash. 4) FIRE THOSE CHEFS!!! 5) The mayor eating at your restaurant can actually be a big thing here in America, at least in some places. Think of it like this; if the mayor likes your restaurant, not only will he come back, he’ll potentially bring aides, associates, and others, such as business people, to there as well. So they’ll have meetings there while eating, and it looks good if city officials like your place too. It could even lead to free publicity on a town brochure if they like you, put your place on their tourism page, or ask you to cater for something. 6) This is why I like Bar Rescue more, because they show if there’s still issues at the end, and the final note at the end of the episode sometimes tells you that ‘yeah, it got worse after filming’ or ‘they did close down’. It’s not always a happy ending. It doesn’t just go with “happy ending”, no, sometimes it doesn’t work and it shows it. That’s actually pretty good. 7) Your compliment: your ears are very wiggly today.

2025-02-22 04:20:21 +0000 UTCI think that Don is one of the most likable people in this show. Vic (and, to some extent, Patti) are some of the most dislikable. I understand it's her stepfather, but imagine it from Don's point of view. You got dragged into debt by your wife because she continuously trusted a scammer more than you. And not even then she fully has your back. For instance, Don does not stand up for her because he "feels Vic walks all over" her. It is not a feeling, that is what Vic did and keeps doing. And getting extremely angry in that scene is completely understandable. He is already in a tough spot, mainly because of his wife's fault. Then, when he goes there, he gets slandered in front of his wife, and not even once she even tries to intervene to defend him.
