But I'm still pretty convinced some cosmic entity is gobbling up realities and using the fallen as its foot soldiers to invade new worlds via the "gates." As I see it, the demons unified to fight something tremendously powerful (echoing what Dad Wu said about a greater threat coming.) But the demons got wiped out and woke up in the tower gate. I'm assuming they can't remember losing because the defeat was too sudden and overwhelming. I still can't figure out exactly where the MC fits in all this. But my running theory is that another entity has coopted some of the "monsters" to train a countermeasure against the reality devourer. At the very least, I agree the system is training him for a specific purpose. I don't think Jin Wu is supposed to be a threat to humanity. Because that seem overly convoluted when the "Gate Lord" entity or whatever can already field monsters that require entire squads of S-ranks. And supposedly, this is just the beginning of the apocalypse.

There are a couple types: Dragons, Wyvern, Basilisks, Wyrms, Drakes, Hydras, and Coatyls. Now there are others, but those tend to be more unique such as the asian dragon or the arctic dragon. The way to tell them apart is by the amount of appendages they have. A dragon will not only have wings, but 4 legs. 2 front and 2 hind. where as a Coatyl has only wings and looks more serpent than dragon. But then you have Wyverns who's arms are usually melded with their wings, or their wings are a part of their arms. (i've seen both). Then you have Basilisks which have no wings. Like Drakes. But I have seen some drakes with wings, but cannot fly kinda like chickens. There are always exceptions, but i find this to be the quickest way to know the difference. you'll at least be about 80% correct. xD

We see that the stronger monsters have their own agency, enough so that they can give away to much info. So what I think is happening, the demons, gates and monster stuff is real and not a “video game” or a simulation, but some super powerful force that is orchestrating and training jinwoo to do something. What really tips me off to this is that if this was all a simulation how can so many monsters try and break the rules ? If they are coded to never break these rules they would never get close to doing so. So I think some force or forces are plucking these guys out of the demon realm tweaking their memory and putting hard limits when they approach a subject they don’t want jinwoo to figure out yet. Tbh I kinda find it boring is all this was just to train jinwoo and everything is just a simulation , and find it way cooler if all this is going on and jinwoo is chosen and a super powered force with a ton of control is leading jinwoo down a certain path via the system, which looks like that because that’s what jinwoo would be most adept at understanding, What are yalls thoughts?
