Black Panther

THIS IS PEAK

Black Panther

Comments

I think this movie is sadly only alright. They don't explain at all how wakanda got that technological ahead. They kinda made BP worse than in CW and the many african stereotypes dont really feel empowering as it could be and more well... racist? It feels like the entire wakandan society is based on african archtypes. Its a good movie but its just not as great as many people say it is if you ask me.

Boris Bradara

Alica hears someone in the movie : uh oh we scared? Me: sigh no Alice we are not scared YOU are scared because you are a scaredy Elf 😁

Julian

Three pages of comments and no one mentioned that chadwick boseman was literally dying of colon cancer the entire time this was being filmed?

Lawrence Mitchell

Even for someone like me who doesn't know any of the actors, I can tell this movie is pretty top tier. Acting and emotion are good. I feel it had a few slow parts here and there, but all in all an enjoyable movie.

YukoValis

its interesting to see someone say it is their fave, i think its one of the worst great acting a nonsensical story & ruined tchalla, he was best in Cw

Undying_Art

1:58:23 - Definitely a great movie, but whenever I think of it all I see is the goofy VFX of the fight scene at the end between the two Black Panthers. They skimped on the budget there.

wiski

So when it’s a black person who wants to commit genocide it’s racist, but when the white villains want to commit genocide it’s not? What a fucking joke

MarakamiSG

And you’re basing that off of a comment section? Thats really just showing how close minded you are seriously be better man

Ben Yokes

Well, you're a self-righteous dick for one thing.

CrimsonWarrior55

A black man being called Man-Ape is the same reason Wenwu was never called "The Mandarin" or "Fu-Man Chu" in Shang-Chi. Horribly racist connotations.

CrimsonWarrior55

One thing that always made me sad was that despite being African American (well, half, I'm white on my mom's side), I never felt the same connection to this movie that the rest of the black community did. I grew up with my white family, so I just never felt black. Still don't. Not really. Even after I reconnected with my father and his family (all rifts have been mended). To me, this has always just been another movie. A good movie, very well-made, but just a movie. It wasn't until recent MCU events that I finally got a chance to feel that pride I missed out on. And DAMN, it feels amazing. I understand now, why this movie was so popular with the black community. Representation matters so much.

CrimsonWarrior55

Riding Rhino-Back....that is Awesome!

Chris White

No, just responding to the two morons who would have every white person guilt their children for something they had no part in.

Ougi

Yeah I confused. There isn't anything else. Thor was originally next but we did it before this.

Hexx Gear

Apparently not? Someone in the comments is saying she's taking a break from the MCU to watch all the other Spiderman movies and she plans to watch Infinity War sometime late April/Early may

Lee Aguera

7 weeks?

Lee Aguera

Are we not? Isn't Infinity War the next Marvel movie after Black Panther?

Lee Aguera

I agree with you entirely. Did you mean to respond to me? Because I didn't think I gave the impression that I disagree with you on this.

Serith

don't think you can stream marvel slop yet, probably not for the next 50 years

Easy Mode - A.I

Yeah, because shaming modern people for the crimes of their ancestors is soooo justified. I love blaming innocent people for what they're great great great grandparents might have been apart of. You're relative did a crime? Well, you obviously are also to blame, even if you weren't born at the time. Such sound logic isn't it? My children deserve to be shamed because there's a chance someone in my family tree did awful things. That's what you're saying, and you don't see the issues with that?

Ougi

Only 7 weeks

Ben Yokes

What fairly obvious reasons? Your comment seems pretty

Ben Yokes

Storm

Ben Yokes

No. And she’s never streamed these reactions she only streams mid like one piece or Rick and Morty

Ben Yokes

Sadly we ain’t at infinity war

Ben Yokes

???????

Ben Yokes

How

Ben Yokes

No Condom Forever!

Easy Mode - A.I

Hey Alica since you like rivals and it's your main point of reference which is great in my opinion btw don't be ashame of it. The ritual warrior fight is actually a map on the wakanda domination space map "Warrior falls" idk if in rivals they ripped the mountain out or made their own replica but now every time you go back and play on that map you can remember this movie😀

Hexx Gear

We are finally at infinity war!!!! I said it too many times on the others but I hope alica reacts to this before watching infinity war movie. Many big time reactors watches it before theater release as well as myself and it made my pov a unique and amazing take on it. Hope you all enjoy Repost/edit: There are shots and lines that are from the Infinity war TRAILER since it was edited and posted before the movie release. Now I understand if that wants to back some away but honnestly for what it shows is don't think it's much and for those who knows it "lies" anyway to almost misguided. But I would say for let's just t react to trailer anyway cuz there was a major hype around it too adding anticipation in the few months wait for the release. Up to Alica in the end 👍 https://youtu.be/RbK1e94p8v0?si=OOff12ypF-ZNuAyg

Hexx Gear

Hardly it's from trailers

Hexx Gear

Naw re read it

Hexx Gear

It was made and posted before the movie released. The shots and lines you are referring to are from the trailer. To make it non spoiler free we could say watch trailer too. For those who know it's a misguided trailer at times anyway

Hexx Gear

She actually doesn't because of people like you.

Adam

Yes, well, gotta remember Africans have a very justified dislike of Europeans. They're why Africa got the borders it did that caused wars.

Adam

That was literally not the case basically everywhere.

Adam

Christ ben, you're just a buzzkill everywhere you go.

Bologna Amputation

nooo she didnt give it a rating

Emperor Moist

Plz watch the next one soon

Tyler Tatom

aye yo someone anyone whoever sees this comment, if she reacts to infinity war on stream REPLY TO THIS MESSAGE SO I CAN GET OVER THERE idc if im sleeping i will wake up to catch that stream

taco-man

Kill monger is one of the best villains. This is def in top marvel movies. I can't give a number cus it is hard for me to rank my favs. Between Iron man, Black Panther, Captain America 2 and 3 aka civil war. Tachala more the king side not the black panther side enough is one of my fav char. As you said breaking traditions for a logical and moral reason is very admirable! Tony too is one of my fav chars too. His struggle and insecurity with how powerful yet irresponsible he can be. Yet he has to balance it out with how he naturally wants to be free and do the right thing. Then steve rogers is just god dam consistent in his ideal. He never gets too lost in them and always keep on the right side of morality no matter what. We saw how he is more captain freedom and not america in a way with what happened with shield and how he was technically a "traitor" at some point! You can probably see the theme that makes me these movies and their highlighted char my favorites!

Azi

Batman under the red hood

James Fernandez

Delete this, bud.

Chimpman

Yeah, no, it's full of actual spoilers from infinity war.

Bologna Amputation

Seeing the queen with her hair down, during the mountain tribe scene, reminded me who T'challa married in the comics

Spacefrog

I'm really happy that this movie was so enjoyable and meaningful for you!

Malkalypse

2nd rewatch because I'm bored and i don't have anything to watch

Andhy thomas

She’s gotta go through all the Spider-Man films so we can get to No Way Home

Nicholas Ruff

Not reasonable, but understandable. He was told Wakanda had the answers to all the problems, and as he grew up his problems got worse and he saw their inaction as unjust. It makes sense he’d come to that conclusion.

Nicholas Ruff

The amount of people i've seen unironically sympathizing with what is effectively black hitler is kinda insane ngl, Killmonger was a great acted villain, but make no mistake this mf was a villain and needed to die, If the racial roles were reversed i can 100% guarantee you nobody would sympathizing with this dude just cuz his dad got killed

Goobert

You're right. I wasn't seeing the bigger picture

The Sigil Chronicles

Sorry brother but calling for the effective genocide of a race is absolutely not reasonable no matter what may have happened to you throughout your life lol

Goobert

Yeah, I was only seeing one side of it there.

The Sigil Chronicles

I wouldn't call it reasonable. He's had decades to work through his anger. He managed to escape the financial and social factors that usually keep people of color trapped in low-income neighbourhoods and could have sought out the truth of what actually happened while working to help others in his situation. Instead he dedicated all of that time and his own rise to moderate success to impulsive and merciless violence. Among the countless kills itched on his body, there's no telling how many of those left other kids with dead fathers.

N00B

I can't judge Ms. Marvel, but "the Marvels" was a critical and box office failure. Its character work was shallow and uninteresting. Its comedy was both low-effort and in some cases in poor taste and its action lacked the choreography and creativity to be entertaining.

N00B

And I was trying to reply to somebody who was talking abt the show but it got posted as a comment

Ben Yokes

Nòn

Ben Yokes

Don't be telling people that their personal opinions are wrong. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean everyone else is obligated to feel the same.

Jason Ramey

Fun Fact: in case you didn't notice, Michael B. Jordan had his Killmonger armor/costume made to look like Vegeta. Also, the comics counterpart of M'Baku is named Man-Ape (thankfully, they decided to NOT refer to him by this name in the movie for fairly obvious reasons).

Serpentking789

I’m so excited for the infinity war reaction !!

Silas vc

Who’s deleting my comments

Ben Yokes

I think you should watch "42" with Chadwick Boseman. I think he did that much better than this.

Phantom Pledge

Nah

Ben Yokes

I'm not so sure about seeing this youtube video pre-infinity war. I'm just over halfway through and it starts showing scenes FROM Infinity War. Up to that point it's fine and spoiler free.

Jacob

The best thing about watching you watch this movie in particular is seen your emotion. I remember seeing this film in theaters a couple times actually and everybody watching it. Enjoy the hell out of it but the thing that was most intriguing was seeing other black viewers reacting to such a positive Display of representation.

Daisy Azuras

I love Ms. Marvel and really enjoyed the Marvel’s movie.

Daisy Azuras

He’s in a better place

Ben Yokes

Not gonna happen she’s doing Spiderman 3 next ✌️

Ben Yokes

God saved him

Ben Yokes

Nah

Ben Yokes

Incorrect

Ben Yokes

She’s read the comments she knows

Ben Yokes

There’s nothing wrong with any of that. You’re just white and took offense. Which means they did what they wanted to properly

Ben Yokes

W don’t want those just gonna take more weeks for infinity war

Ben Yokes

Nah you’re wrong ms marvel is horrible and a disappointment

Ben Yokes

So much to say about this one - it really is one of, if not THE best standalone MCU films of all time. And a massive part of that is because in many ways, Killmonger's motivations come from a completely realistic and understandable place. You could even argue that his views about Wakanda are correct, to some degree. He just went about his goal in an overly aggressive, radical manner that resulted in people getting hurt or killed. But he made such good points about the way the MCU world was moving that he ended up convincing T'Challa to carry on a part of his vision in the end, which really subverts the usual hero/villain dynamic. One of the things I adore the most, though, is the tiniest little nod to Bucky already being in Wakanda throughout the events of the film - Shuri remarks that T'Challa brought her "another" white boy to fix. Bucky was the first one, as it's heavily implied that he was brought to Wakanda for de-programming and general mental health care after the events of Civil War. He was also seemingly located somewhere that was isolated and protected from the Wakandan civil war that took place during the events of the film. All this, despite T'Challa spending virtually the entirety of Civil War hunting Bucky down to kill him before finding out what really happened. T'Challa is an incredible human being.

Jyxxe

It was awesome to hear about the influences in your model's costume! I had no idea there was anything more to it than "it looks cool" (which it does!)

Malkalypse

The kicker about Killmonger's plan was that anyone would feel the same if they believed the world turned on their people, their community and their family. His anger is reasonable after he lost his dad

The Sigil Chronicles

This is probably my second-favorite Marvel movie, and my first favorit is up next, baby!! The thing I've been waiting for since I first saw that Iron Man (2008) notification; I'm so hyped!

subete_wa

It’s on her list already. If you check her workflow document, it’ll show you everything she’s planning to watch.

18C

Yeah it’s the movie I’ve been looking forward to the most, she’s going to need a box of tissues for it though.

Charlie

Fair enough. His supporters just really annoy me because it makes me feel like they ignored half his fucking words and actions in doing so. How exactly is someone who wanted to murder children and establish a global empire (something that would definitely require a LOT of oppression of anyone not black since it's clear Killmonger is a black supremacist) "right"? It's fucking stupid.

Nora

Legit tho. I sometimes feel like the people saying he was "right in his ideas" forget that he literally wanted to murder children. Sure, he framed it as "the oppressed will rise up and kill those in charge." But he literally follows that with "and their children. And anyone else who sides with them." So clearly, he's not talking about "the people in the government/the president and his lackies/dictators." He's literally talking about killing anyone the people he's arming considers "oppressors" and their children and anyone who stands against what they want to do. That is genocide, and will likely target entire ethnic groups the world over since it's been long proven people view entire races as "the oppressors" in real life (at least, here in America we do). So yeah, no, Killmonger was not "right in his ideas" in any way. He literally came to a country he never lived in because he had blood ties to it, took it over, destroyed their culture, and then tried to use them as a tool to do what the British Empire tried to do, but on a global fucking scale. Literally, make Killmonger white and there would have been no on his side.

Nora

I'm sure there was some review bombing going on, but if anything my experience is the exact opposite. At the time, if you didn't say it was an 10/10 masterpiece you were called a racist, which was ironic since the only thing I enjoyed about this movie was the actors

Breadzombie

my vote's on Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Rhodair

Im so excited for Infinity War!! I think you're going to love it!

Andrew Roberto

Yeah, that's the only strange parts for me

Vendacator

This movie Shows damn good that Marvel Support diversity. But IT also Show s The toxic fandom. The movie got review bombed at rotten Tomato and that happened to alot Marvel movies and Shows. If The Hero IS No white sterotypical male, The fandom doesnt Like IT.

JansWichtig

I’m talking about how she loved the cultural representation of black panther. She’ll love how Ms marvel explores Indian culture

Ignis Flame

the musical Wakanda theme is so cool

BreadCEO

Alicia if you watch anything past Endgame let it be Black Panther 2.

Timothy Dowell

I mean...I'm not sure why they'd be surprised given that T'Challa is personally acquainted with the Avengers, given that one of the leaders of said team is also the one who developed the generator tech. It's not like they think that they're the sole entity on Earth that's hoarding their own resources and knowledge, they've just decided it's wrong of their own nation to keep doing so instead of helping people with it.

Well, this reply turned into a rant. But it's a topic that's always annoyed me, so whoever wants to read this, sorry. "The British museum is keeping the part of a literal wall from the Greeks and then argue to this day that they can take better care of it than the Greeks can and so it's okay for them to have it...It's BS." So any specifics of what you are talking about? Because many Greek artifacts in the British museum were bought from the Ottoman empire. In the case of Greek artifacts, British museum quite literally has saved a lot of history. They are probably safe to bring back, but should they do it out of the goodness of their hearths? Who is going to pay for that? Should the museum be compensated for acquiring it, since it had to buy it? That specifically is a very bad example. For one, those "pieces of wall" tend to weigh in tons. If it wasn't an artifact, it would already cost immensely to just transport. And we know British Museum didn't steal most of what they have from Greeks, they bought it for preservation of history. That part of the collection isn't their war trophies, it's their attempt at preserving history that would now be lost like rest of the damn wall was. Yes, there are A LOT of stolen goods in the British museum. But again, returning all of it isn't as simple as sending it all back through mail. It would probably cost billions to make sure everything goes back to where it's from, as well as to make sure it'll all get stored properly. Let alone deciding what should or shouldn't be sent back, even that isn't as simple as "it's not from here." ___________________________________________________ But let's put some perspective on this. In short, Finland has no great historical artifacts like marble statues or golden jewelry, because the country was under rule of Sweden for hundreds of years, from when the area was just Finnic tribes, then under Russian rule, both of which tried cultural genocide on multiple occasions. Who owes Finland and how much? You can't measure the lives lost, the wealth taken and the cultural loss that can't ever be gained back. Finland as a country has existed for 108 years. Finland as the people and culture existed for much longer, but most of that struggled to survive. We don't have culinary delicacies like other countries, but a series of famine foods. But I don't blame Swedish people, current government or Finnoswedes whose family lines trace back to those times. Nor do I think we deserve some compensation for things that could have been. In that same line of thought, current Greeks didn't build that piece of the wall. And hell, at least you have a lot of other historical pieces of walls all over the place, the whole country is littered with history. From, you know, the ages when Greeks were the conquerors. Is that marble even from Greece or was it Roman? Hard to tell when the owners used to be the conquerors themselves. Wanting back some artifacts is a ridiculously small want, but actually doing it would create a massive mess with geopolitical relations. How do you decide what was fairly bought? Should Sweden pay us back a majority of their taxes for the next 600 years? Should Sweden give Finland some of it's own historical artifacts that were made thanks to wealth siphoned from Finland? What about fishing rights, should Finland have exclusive fishing rights on the Swedish coast? Should everyone who isn't a native American or Inuit leave United States and Canada? Are the artifacts of countries that no longer exist owned by the current governments or the governments that used to own the area where the artifacts were from?

I'm following way too many nsfw accounts to use a name here

The movies ok, but after watching The Lottle Platoon and EFAP talk about it i realize how technically flawed it is. Also don't love the "Colonizer" thing. Not all white people have colonized personally after all. Not a big deal though. Like I said, it's an ok watch. Boseman plays T'Challa great and I love Andy Sirkis.

Serith

Guys how do we tell her about Boseman

Jacob

We will never forget Chadwick Aaron Boseman and he made this role legendary and now everyone will remember his face with the phrase: Wakanda Forever.

TSP247

I always thought black panther was over hyped. its a solid 7/10 but nothing more than that

SirFappington

So like the Wakandan War Dogs? Not obviously to that extent but . . . They are a non jurisdiction task force discretely securing their nations needs through assassinations and espionage.

PrivateXimmy

22:06 to the victors go the spoils

Az256

The movie itself is not racist, in fact the themes are anti-racism. Though a few moments in this movie do make me uncomfortable, that doesn't make it a bad movie, nor does it make it racist. I understand why this movie has value and is important, though i do feel a few lines from the heroes go against the theme of the movie and detract from its effectiveness. Of course thats just my opinion, i'm glad this movie exists and that people enjoy it... i just can't bring myself to like it... i wanted to like it so bad, i saw it when it came out and was disappointed. Its only now rewatching through this reaction that i understand why i never could get into this movie. It wasn't made for me, it sucks, but i'm glad those who could get into it really liked it.

...

It really doesn't surprise me at all how people defend him, given that he's basically just doing what politicians around the world always do that gets the same kind of response from the public: Theatrics about morality and righteousness that will rile up their supporters, when in practice they very blatantly don't care even the slightest about the moral issues they wax on about as long as they can keep being the ones in charge. We see it all across the political spectrum, and people fall for it in fiction just like we tend to in reality. Not accounting for people who are just doing it for the "[Insert Villain] was right" memes, of course.

Ven

The movie CONTAINS racism and nationalism. That is not the same as being racist. Just about every marvel movie contains some degree of political or race ideology. They don't treat them as a goal, but a hurdle needing to be removed to make the world a better place.

YukoValis

Which is funny considering the guy who plays Ross is the same guy who played Bilbo.

YukoValis

Both Captain America and Captain America 2 were about literal Nazis. Iron Man 1-3 and Spider-Man Homecoming weren't about villains who explicitly planned to commit genocide, but literally ALL of them were war profiteers who would gladly profit from it as long as the ones doing the killing were paying to use their weapons. Thor was about Loki wiping out the Frost Giants after Odin previously forced them into submission via violence and Thor was gung-ho to do the same. Thor 2 was about the Dark Elves basically wanting to genocide everything that isn't them. Hella made it abundantly clear that she was not only okay with it, but that Asgard was basically built on it with her and Odin leading the charge. Loki wasn't specifically aiming to do a genocide in Avengers, but made it clear he had no issue killing as many people as needed to ensure his rule, while working on behalf of someone who absolutely is okay with genocide. Ultron planned to commit genocide against the entirety of Earth. Guardians of the Galaxy was about Ronan wanting to commit genocide. Guardians of the Galaxy 2 was about Ego wanting to commit a mass galactic-scale genocide. Pretty much the only movie in the entire MCU up to this point that HASN'T featured a genocidal maniac (or someone who at least wasn't opposed to it) as a major villain was Civil War.

Ven

If Alicia ever gets the chance I would love for her to react to the DC animated films maybe after she finishes with marvel the DC animated films are very good with so many interesting plot lines

James Fernandez

Fun comic fact: in the black panther comics T’Chala actually marries storm from the X-men in a animated film they actually had a kid with similar powers to both of them

James Fernandez

Fun fact: the actor who plays young t’Chaka is actually the real life son of the actor who plays the older t’Chaka I thought that was cool

James Fernandez

PERSONAL STORY: i don't normally comment on things but when you talked about your dad having cancer i felt like sharing this. I also have a family member who has stomach cancer, my grandfather, the man i live with and see as my dad. it was Christmas day, we had all just woken up. i rushed to give my grandfather a gift and he loved it. he stayed with us just long enough to spend time with us as we opened our presents. after we opened our gifts he started convulsing, not answering us before violently vomiting up both blood and some stomach lining. i rushed over to him as my grandmother called for an ambulance. somehow i was calm, calmer than I've ever been and kept him from choking on his own blood. i told him gently about my day, trying to keep him awake, and told him we still hadn't set up the gazebo for the party yet when he stopped breathing. i talked to him as i dragged him onto the ground and did CPR until he groaned. realising he was breathing i rolled him on his side as he threw up more blood. somehow i didn't panic, like nothing was wrong, like all that mattered was keeping him alive. An ambulance showed up after and took him away, throwing up more blood on the way to the hospital. after seeing him go i simply sat back down on my console and talked with friends, again as if nothing happened. Only the next day did i realise what had happened and i sobbed for what felt like hours. Apparently, they had to give him 3 bags of blood having lost so much, but he survived. the doctors thought he wasn't gonna make it but he did. despite never doing much in my life, i felt proud in myself for the first time in my life and made everything I had to suffer through (rather not talk about that) worth suffering just to have been able to save his life. to be honest, i don't know what the point of writing this was even for. maybe i just felt like sharing for once? i don't know. what i want to say is you give people hope that their loved ones may be rid of it one day too having beaten it yourself. thank you for reading, if you did, i wouldn't blame you for not reading it. sorry, off topic, ADHD moment. anyway...man I'm not good at this so I'll just say thank you for the hope, the laughs and the good times. -that one guy. P.S- no, I'm to lazy to make the i's uppercase. sorry for some of the grammar.

The British museum is keeping the part of a literal wall from the Greeks and then argue to this day that they can take better care of it than the Greeks can and so it's okay for them to have it...It's BS. They could have given it back decades ago, Greece has been asking for it for a long time now, it's not theirs.

David Bodor

I think the difference is, the guards were killed by the bad guys, and the pilots are killed by the good guys. That simple.

David Bodor

The only think i hate about this is having to wait a week for the next one! While this is not my favourite marvel movie it's definitely up there!!!

Cameron Meow

Still freaking peak, love this film so much💕

NekoSoophie!

Oh no the bad guy wants to do bad guy things, we're shooketh

David Bodor

As much as I really liked Black Panther, I still got to put Doctor Strange as the best of this phase. Always thought it was a shame that Killmonger rejected Wakanda at the end though I get his choice, Wakanda was his father's home, not his. Shuri is a fun character though she does give one of the lines that annoyed me the most in her next movie. Really looking forward to the next one though. The climb to the peak of the MCU.

Arashi

@Kap - HAD a border shield. Wakanda HAD one. It's the point of the movie.

David Bodor

Just gonna say this: ALICIA you are not ready!

For me personally story was great and loved the movie but I do have to knock it a point for the cgi it threw me a bit every once in awhile, but I still love this movie a lot.

"a kind of evil that goes beyond anything we’ve seen in history" I mean, the means for the potential harm he was going to do go beyond anything in history. The type of evil though? Too many genocides poking holes for that statement to hold any water.

Ranginald Vagel

Beyond anything we've seen in history? My friend, have you seen history? Not that I don't agree that Killmonger is evil, but he's a product of the world that led him down that path and not an outlier.

Bologna Amputation

That term is funny. 'Reverse Racism'. I thought racism meant discrimination based on race, not discrimination towards black people.

Azel !!

Me thinks you're just projecting.

Johnathon

You saying it like that makes it sound like it would also be weird for Bucky to date a 26 year old because he is 100. Stop being hyperbolic, it makes you look weird.

Okoga

This kind of comment is just as bad as spoilers.

Okoga

@Adam That is an actual psychopathic level leap in logic you just did there.

Okoga

U.....do realized that the actual Ironheart show that's premiering this summer, hasn't come out yet? Also, if u are speaking about the actress being cast as Riri Williams in Wakanda Forever, then no she was casted just fine. I don't know what u expect as someone as smart as her, to act and sound like when she has a similar ego to Tony Better yet, Wakanda Forever is not an Ironheart movie. Just a movie that involves that character and she was written fairly ok. She didn't really do too much to say that she was butchered or that the overall story of Wakanda Forever was bad. The story that they did for Wakanda Forever under certain circumstances of a beloved castmate that passed, was good for what it did It's ok that u didn't like Wakanda Forever that much. But it was butchered because of Ironheart???? Idk about that one chief

terrell thaddies

I dont know man maybe I expected a good story. I feel like I expect too much

Sage of All knowing

Killing everyone who isn’t your race is racist.

Kap

Anyone who sympathizes with a dude who wanted to butcher children simply for not having his skin color, needs to re-examine what his overall plan is. He wanted to give weapons to blacks for the sole purpose of killing anyone who wasn’t black. He lost his dad, after his dad betrayed his people and tried to kill a man who reported the betrayal, and that’s a big enough loss to justify the wholesale slaughter of anyone not black? Killmonger was just evil, a kind of evil that goes beyond anything we’ve seen in history. Unfortunately there are those who think he had the right idea. These people make the usual hate groups look like the Boy Scouts in comparison.

Kap

NGL when I first started watching your videos I thought your VTuber model was based off of a Gerudo from The Legend of Zelda.

Cpt Babyface

1. It's a TV show show 2. The cast of Iron Heart isn't buttered or butchered for u know......being a different story for a different character Like what did u expect from it, AI Tony to be her mentor or the possible appearances of Rhodey or Pepper when this is essentially Riri's true origin/journey to heroism since it takes place directly after Wakanda Forever

terrell thaddies

This really is one of the best of the Marvel movies and I have many thoughts on it, both from a design sense and from a story sense. First and briefest, I loooove how they use purple and gold lights/themes to contrast rather than the usual blue and orange you see in most action movies. Second, a lot of people distill Killmonger's flawed motivation down to "I will liberate Black people, and I don't care how many Black people I have to kill to do it," but I think that he himself states it a whole lot more clearly: "The world took everything I loved. I'm going to make sure we're even." He's a man whose righteousness turned into hate a long time ago, perhaps without him realizing it. Third, I love the conflict between the various types of good in this movie. To use the D&D alignments for simplicity, we've got Okoye and Nakia's argument post trial-by-combat as a fantastic example of a conflict between Lawful Good and Neutral Good. All in all, this movie just holds up fantastically.

Bologna Amputation

In case u didn't know, Chadwick Boseman unfortunately passed away in 2020 after a long battle of colon cancer. He hid this from the world, including his colleagues and friends, cuz he didn't want anyone to worry. The only people who knew was his wife and family. So when the news broke that he passed from cancer, the cast and crew of Black Panther 1 and Black Panther Wakanda Forever was heartbroken cuz they didn't know he was fighting for his life. The director of the Black Panther franchise, Ryan Coogler, took it the hardest cuz that was his best friend. So him, the cast, and the crew dedicated Wakanda Forever to Chad. The regular Marvel intro was played when this movie originally came out in 2018 But the Marvel intro with it being just Chadwick, is to dedicate it to him after he passed. It's now the permanent intro to the Black Panther movies

terrell thaddies

it was literally criticizing how Killmonger wanted to be a genocidal maniac.

slavicandsapphic

It's not racist

terrell thaddies

man I love the whole cast but how they buttered the cast in the new iron heart movie, breaks my heart

Sage of All knowing

But... Wasn't the genocide bit the bad guy's thing? How is that racist? Bad guy do bad thing.

DrCatspaw

And there's Ben, right on cue to try and shit on everyone's fun.

Bologna Amputation

IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE LETS FUCKING GOOOOOOOOO

kingslayer201721

Black Panther will always be one of my favorite Marvel movies.

Adrian_B

So if I get a job at a museum like I don't know a casher at the food court, then it's fine if I died because some of the artifacts were stolen and either donated to or sold to the building? I don't know bro sounds like a fucked up way to look at things. Just pointing that out.

Shadowsofpain

It definitely shows the idea that Killmonger had turned into the thing he swore he hated most of all. He didn't want to kill the colonizers, he wanted to replace them. Flip the script rather than empower the colonized.

Shadowsofpain

I was thinking the same thing, she'll def love the family dynamic of Ms marvel and her family.

Shadowsofpain

Agreed, Ms. Marvel isn't that bad. She-Hulk however is horrid and is straight up the worst mcu project, like worse than Captain Marvel.

Todd cantrell

But it happened long ago, we can't do anything about it now

Gildarts1#fan

I kinda feel like this movie is racist, like why is everyone okay with the plot being about a global genocide?

Gildarts1#fan

not even close to worst.

Trevor Wingard

I have an unpopular opinion on this one. Black Panther is way cooler in Civil War than he is in his own movie to me.

Trevor Wingard

Rip Chadwick Boseman gone too soon

Ben Yokes

No they aren’t even canon

Ben Yokes

Pretty sure he got exposed for being racist too so I wonder why he agreed to do this movie 😂

Ben Yokes

Bruh don’t say all this she’s gonna put it off for half a year now

Ben Yokes

Be quiet

Ben Yokes

Worst mcu show

Ben Yokes

I dont think anyone is saying it is as simple as "Giving it back." Its very complicated and difficult. But what people want is for them to start putting serious effort into figuring out real solutions instead of the typical. " its not that simple so we will do nothing" excuses.

Rinnzu Rosendale

ALMOST TO INFINITY WAR!!!

Zero

Returning it may be difficult, but that doesn’t justify how it was obtained. The term may be “immoral”

PrivateXimmy

He’s a tyrant born of circumstances of oppression. You don’t have to agree with him to understand what radicalized him.

PrivateXimmy

I’ve wondered this as well! Do they have their own potential magical artifacts too?

PrivateXimmy

Which was the major critique of the film: Wakanda chose isolationism over helping other humans.

PrivateXimmy

Let’s be fair none of us were ready the first time.

Kaldra Warrior

The keeping him in the snow thing is so real though. Contrary to popular thought your not dead until your warm and dead. We have revived people who were in extreme cold that otherwise should have died.

Maddie the witch

His personal morality is irrelevant to his job’s inherently immoral nature. The CIA exists to maintain the global dominance of the US and they do it through espionage, assassinations, and acts of terror. They have toppled dozens of countries and empowered just as many dictators. It isn’t about hating the US, it’s about the objective truth that the CIA exists to hurt people.

it really is a shame about his cousin because man those 2 wouldve made a 2 piece combo like no other.

...can you provide sources to every single thing in the British museum that was taken by force? and im guessing you have the mindset that every person should be judged for what their country did in the past...thus you likely should be killed too if you think those guards deserved to die for having a job...no country on Earth is innocent...just pointing that out

Vegvisir92

Another thing that museums do is protect artifacts of history from the vandals who destroy such things for sport or building material.

Kap

Shuri is the best Disney Princess.

SweetCandle

Lot of people miss that Killmonger is just black Hitler. Non-blacks are sub-human scum and need to be eliminated so that the "superior" race can have the world.

Kap

Until now I don't think she even remembers much about that purple guy, but oh boy she will not forget them after that movie.

YukoValis

Yep.

Adam

damn straight.

YukoValis

They were guarding shit that'd been taken by force in the past. Just pointing that out.

loving this movie more than i remember from when it came out

Sorry, edited it now. IMDB lied to me.

Kabelsatan

no... that's a football player.. the actor name is Winston Duke

Dsdmedia

Oh hell yeah, I've been waiting for this one.

Andy Serkis played Gollum, Martin Freeman played Bilbo. They are the Tolkien White Males. :D

The Talanton

Yeah, people are just slinging spoilers like crazy in the comments. I hope you have someone screening them, Alicia! (Loving your reactions!)

Bologna Amputation

I would like to bring up two interesting historical references. 1:28:56 I like how he breaks his spear because he thinks it is too long. This is a reference to Shaka Zulu who basically turned weak throwing spears into swords for close range. 1:43:05. "The sun will never set on the Wakandan Empire" This is of course reference to the old British phrase "The sun will never set on the British Empire" said during most of their colonizing days.

YukoValis

The actor (Winston Duke) that plays M'Baku is definitely my favorite in the movie. His character is one of the few that stays honorable throughout the entire movie.

Kabelsatan

Like someone else posted below, if you want to back someone in this movie who has Killmonger’s ideals but none of his zest for world war Nakia should be just as popular.

Robert Collard

bringing back the other guys argument you havent attacked aang and katara in your statements that is the same situation. Aang is over 100 years old and katara is a child yet you didnt condemn that you just keep dodging it. We are talking about a 26 year old because thats how old he is. If you are gunna attack people for shipping an adult and child at least state the correct facts so you dont look foolish. I imagine you care about that bc you keep up the argument online instead of just ignoring it lol.

Immeasurably Me

Knowing Infinity War is after this…..she’s not ready 💔

Lalo Venzor

Bucky is a decade older than her, even if you don't consider his biological age after being repeatedly frozen. It would still be strange.

Watching this movie knowing what he was dying of but still putting on this performance; Chadwick has my eternal respect

HornHero

i forget how many awards this movie got but this is such a FANTASTIC marvel movie and it shows.

Jacob Vogelsang

This is the only marvel movie with a scene I cannot bear to watch and it’s the “Is this your king” scene. Breaks my heart worse than Violet Evergarden episode 10

MarakamiSG

If watch closely, klaw would have won that shoot out with killmonger if he didn't have body armor

CrazyFoxBoi _

Unfortunately, too many people got up in arms about Bucky and Shuri being an item. This is due to Shuri being 16 in this film. The scene shows her as his doctor, not a love interest. Once she's an adult, maybe, but in this movie, nope. But, I'm down for a future of Bucky and Shuri. LOL.

Oouga

Easily one of my top three solo marvel movies. Also one of top three of all marvel movies. And Chadwick was the GOAT o7

Yurei Okami

This was the best Marvel movie streak and next one is going to be the last gem of a movie that marvel made.

Axe Shell

"In times of crisis, the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers..." Something something border wall...

to be fair to the "Uncle James" line.....Zuri was going by "James" when he was in America with Killmongers father....so he literally is Uncle James to Killmonger Also, funny you were sorry for the Wakandan pilots that were killed (who knew they were starting a world war) but not the random British museum guards that were murdered by Killmonger and Klaue

Vegvisir92

I can’t wait for her reaction to infinity war

Soulstealer9678

Honestly I only liked this one, not loved it. It is just a personal taste thing. Now the next movie oh boy.. that is going to be an experience and a half.

YukoValis

You’re about to get into Infinity War. You’re not ready. You in particular, almost certainly COULD NEVER BE ready. Your heart is too big, and your empathy for the cast too strong. I can confidently declare that you will cry through pretty much half the movie. Don’t bring tissues, bring a BOX. Hell, bring TWO. You will need them.

Noah Weathers

Small detail I never noticed. The fact that M'baku's tribe venerates Hanuman makes me wonder if each tribe has a God to fit their theme.

TurtleKungFu

pretty much. and one of the reasons this is Peak Marvel

largo778 .

I deliberately chose that number because thats how old he is. And we're not talking about a 26 year old, now are we?

Johnathon

Yeah, in a weird way i’m excited but also nervous because i know how emotional it’s going to be.

Charlie

Some of it, probably. Some of it would probably be still exactly where it was before it was stolen. I'm not arguing against that, please read what I wrote. I'm arguing that it's not easy to return things that were stolen over centuries. No museum has as much as the British museum and just going through it all and making sure it will get back in the right hands will take decades and some are owned by countries and cultures that no longer exist. And if they start by returning the most famous ones, the international conflict caused by not everything being returned all at once and immediately would be huge. Countries that no longer exist, cultures that haven't existed even when the items were stolen, items that were stolen and not sure from where etc. Who deserves and what isn't as simple as just giving it back.

I'm following way too many nsfw accounts to use a name here

its almost time for peak marvel

DankusMemes

Being a CIA operative doesn't make you inherently bad lmao. I think you're letting your preconceived ideas color your interpretation of the character. He's shown to be generally good and just wants to be diplomatic, even if he makes the wrong moves here and there. He jumped in front of a bullet for someone he didn't know. At what point did it ever even IMPLY that he was supposedly a twist villain? Nothing from his introduction in Civil War to this movie even remotely paints him in that light. I think you just hate the US, bud.

Chimpman

Yes he does

UndeadNovaKing 0

His views on racial injustice and how unfair Wakanda is being are right. His solution of world conquest and racial purification/purging that's wrong.

Lee Aguera

@Johnathon They aren't trying to make it sound better, they're just pointing out that you're using the 100+ thing to make it sound worse. It's all bad, but you deliberately chose that number to make it worse. Because Bucky is essentially 26, not 100, so he'd be able to date a 26 year old just fine.

Chimpman

That stuff wouldn’t have been in a museum because people the people who made it would’ve been using it. I’m Jewish, all my family has left from before we fled Lithuania is a single silver Menorah that was hand-crafted over 150 years ago. I would never put it in a museum because we still light it every year.

Egregore

I understood that reference 😂

Kaea Edwin

Wait...is Alicia...wearing...a wig? Today I learned, thank you Alicia.

Brian Alvarez

Rest in peace Chadwick Boseman.

Zackerex

Cool, wasn't sure

Jonathan Kennedy

Oh no, I don't think it's cool that the museums have stolen goods, not going to defend that and the British are particularly guilty of it with their history of colonialism. I do get that and that's not what I'm defending. That history is definitely there and it's fair to point it out. And the fact that it's stolen doesn't mean it should be kept by the British museum either. But returning all of it isn't as simple as just giving it back. Where does it all go? Who owns it now? It's very complicated, like trying to return American land back to native Americans, it's not as simple as giving it all back. Yes, stolen is stolen, but giving things back doesn't mean it'll go back in the hands of the people who it belongs to. That's why I mentioned private collections, where cultural artifacts don't belong either. They have returned some, but not nearly enough, but it's also fair to say that (large part because of British caused damages) returning them won't be as simple as just giving them back.

I'm following way too many nsfw accounts to use a name here

God I miss chadwick boseman :(

Schleep

1:43:40 Yeah? We're gonna act like Tony Stark and Bruce Banner aren't insane geniuses? Tony is essentially at the level of Wakandan tech all by himself lmao. Hank Pym, too. Pym particle stuff is more advanced than any Vibranium tech. Man is right, the world is catching up, fast.

Chimpman

That wasn’t what I was shocked about. What shocked me was seeing so many black power houses in one film. It blew my mind

aliciaxlife

Or you could not try and make a relationship with a minor sound less offensive? A minor is a minor. 100 or 30 years old, doesn't make it any better. Stop being fucking weirdos.

Johnathon

Yeah I picked up on that

aliciaxlife

ooooh, here it comes. the crescendo, the end of the build up of the whole franchise. Infinity war. that aside, there's a reason Black Panther was the most nominated MCU movie. it's great in a lot of ways.

Silver Blade

The British also stole almost every valuable including gems during colonialism. The Taj was one of the greatest examples of literally plucking out the gems from the walls of a treasure to the world. The blood money used to allocate items and the history of what was done to Africa and India as well as SOOOO many other countries have set them back even to this day. Also preservation of artifacts is done all over the world. It would be insanely ignorant to think the British museum do it better. Or care for things more than their point of origin.

aliciaxlife

the best thing about this movie: Killmonger isn't wrong, he's just not right either

largo778 .

Hold up the British museum in particular has major issues due to what they stole from countries during colonialism. They didn’t just leave peacefully they robbed countries of any valuable asset before leaving and a lot of those are still seen within that museum. I also in this recording literally go “that’s most museums in general”. Private collections also can be stolen and resold. But addressing your point is the equivalent of, “oh it’s cool that they stole all that because they will treat it better than the other cultures will.”

aliciaxlife

Easily one of the Top Tiers, Amazing Story, Actual Villian you care about(Only other one is Loki). Miss ya Chadwick!!!!!! <3

Is he CIA in the comics too?

Egregore

Everett Ross is actually one of T'challa's closest friends in the comics. So he was never going to be a twist villain.

Adam

This is an American movie and he was an American critic, guess I hadn’t thought of the European perspective

nervouspirate

I'll have to defend museums for a moment. Yes, many are filled with stolen artifacts, but the thing is, the ones that aren't stolen and in a museum tend to be in a private collection or stolen and in a private collection. Not just the British stolen stuff, but in general. It's sad, but a lot of history is preserved as a trophy. Things in museums at least can and often are studied. One of the reasons is, cultures that spend wealth on creating artifacts worth preserving usually either don't see them as valuable at the time, like old weapons or masks and the like, or they are owned by the country and leaders, like crown jewelry or the like. That stuff rarely ends up in a museum, unless taken. Them being in a British museum is just as much part of history as are the artifacts.

I'm following way too many nsfw accounts to use a name here

Europe has so much mixed blood that no one can say where they are lineage is from, so everyone just says they are from the country they where born in. Americans are the only ones that do not do that and point to a country in Europe.

Ruben Oordt

Wakandans ready to share their advanced knowledge and resources to the world just to find out that they already have a generator that could create almost infinite energy the size of a coffee cup (stark reactor) and waaaay more advanced tech than them by stealing alien tech (chitauri tech they stole from the NY attack) but they just don't want to share it to the world just like them: Huh?

Eric

Because helping the downtrodden when you can is good? Killmonger specifically wanting to empower all black people regardless of ethnicity is mainly because he grew up in the US where they’re considered a single monolithic group and he internalized that mindset.

Egregore

KEKW

DrCatspaw

And he gets even better in his future appearances

Robert Collard

Besides Alicia will get to the true ship for Bucky eventually

Robert Collard

I wonder how long it will take for Alicia to have a Dora Milaje outfit We lost Chadwick Boseman way too damn soon, he was such an amazing actor doing all of these movies with like Stage 3 or 4 cancer, and just amazing human.

James T Williams

Bro my point is ones a minor and one isn't. You don't need to "well actually" to try an make it seem less weird. Just say you agree.

Johnathon

the man who plays everitt ross also plays bilbo in the hobbit movies

Steve Cushman

Bucky was who Shuri was referring to when she called Ross "Another broken White boy for us to fix"

Jonathan Kennedy

is called "reverse racism", when they think "all white people are mean and racist and all black people are good and blablabla" etc, which is the point of the movie: making extremist decisions is exactly the problem and let go all that hate and start from zero and smaller steps is better because extremist people will only lead to more hate and more violence, but the more the people is hurt, the more they will want revenge instead of peace, perpetuing the fight and the war, and war... war never changes...

Faroth

I can't wait for the next one! But this one is also awesome!

Vendacator

Yeah nope she’s doing the Spiderman movies and fantastic four before infinity war unfortunately. But I really think she should do those after endgame

Ben Yokes

We almost there ladies and gentlemen

EDWin qaz

"age is just a number" "prison is just a room"

Faroth

Bucky being 100+ isn't the best argument to make, as his mind sans Hydra's tampering is still that of a young man. It's the same reason in Avatar that Aang and Katara could be together despite the fact Aang is 100 years older. The better argument is that even before he was frozen, Bucky was 26, a full decade older than Shuri.

Richard Sinclair

YIBAMBE!!! YIBAMBE !!! Rip Chadwick

Faroth

I don't think there are any left. I could be blanking but we have had Civil War, Strange, Spider-man, Guardians, Thor and now this.

Alexander Jenkins

if the Dad was banished by the nation then the nation has no obligation to support him in any way and what befalls the dad at this point has nothing to do with the nation. The son, killmonger, could then seek an appeal because he wasn't part of the banishment and all that. But if killmonger and the dad were sentenced to banishment and assassination then that's that. They, following their own laws, should have just killed killmonger when they learned he was still alive, instead they play into a farce because they felt bad and hand him the nation. "No you are banished you have no claim to the throne. you may appeal your right to live among us" should have been the extent of it, not to mention the fight for the throne already took place. for example America just elected a new president. Should Edward Snowdin be able to come back with a sob story and ask that the nation run the election again to give him a chance to win? (using as an example and in no way do i intend to start a political rant regarding these two)

Lunafan1k

The only thing I don’t like about this fantastic movie is how the CIA guy was CLEARLY meant to be a twist villain (considering the CIA’s history with politically unstable countries and his less than heroic introduction). Instead they made the comedic relief Mr. Waterboarder when he could have easily just been some SHIELD agent.

Egregore

Alicia when you get to Infinity War, you've got to watch the deleted scenes. They add more context for Hulk.

Edward Boyert III

Now the wait for infinity war while enjoying the other Marvel movies begins!

Omer Durrani

No i get that part, i meant his ideals that he got from his father that they should help black people all around the world by giving them vibranium because they were black. I mean, people in wakanda did not interact much with anyone outside of wakanda so why would they be obliged to help people just because of the color of their skin.

Azel !!

love this one excited for the next one

Ronix

The point was that Wakanda could have easily helped him and his family, and probably should have considering they banished and killed his dad, but chose to keep their wealth and prosperity to themselves instead. His actions and beliefs were not justified; but his anger at the system and drive to change it was.

Egregore

Them fighting in the mine during the final battle just looks like a 3D animated movie. Their movements just looked so cartoonish. This movie seemed like the start of a MCU trend for rough cgi.

Johnathon

I think this film goes more into “Wakanda needs to improve,” so probably the latter.

GavinGamePad3DS

Shuri is 16 in this movie and Bucky is 100+. Let's not ship them, lol.

Johnathon

man the wait for infinity war after this is gonna be agonizing XD cannot wait for her to watch it,

frederik wøhliche

It really was a bad move on Disney's part. Don't get me wrong, I still think the movie is high up on the list and the occasionally wonky effects alone aren't nearly enough to drag it down, but the final battle does feel awkward and jarring at certain points. And that's really not something you want during the climactic showdown of a big budget superhero film. I feel especially bad for the VFX team since, at least based on what we've seen in other MCU films, I'm certain they could have made some amazing sequences if they weren't basically forced into crunch mode.

Ven

and Killmonger stole it from them

Dragonfire

I don't get how people can even see killmonger and is dad's thinking as justified. Why does the reason that 'black people were oppressed' have to mean that all other black people should care for them? Let's take white people for example. Will USA be obliged to help UK just because they have the same skin color?

Azel !!

i cant wait for infinity war

Andhy thomas

"I will become king following your own traditions." "Now that I am King I am going to immediately piss on all of your traditions." Still can't decide if I just don't like Killmonger as a villain or that Wakanda just sucks as a country.

Okoga

I've been looking forward for this reaction.

4:30 My family speaks between 3-4 languages, most of them simultaneously, especially when we can't remember certain words in one. Its like we have to switch mid-sentence constantly and I never really realized it until I've seen how guests react to it. 7:40 Chadwick Boseman (T'Chala) sadly passed away in 2020. I sadly hadn't gotten to see this movie prior, but the opening could be in his honour.

N00B

FUCKING THANK YOU!! I've had to listen to so many dumbasses talk about how Killmonger was right, when Nakia is RIGHT there. All his hypocritical bullshit and desire for a literal ethnic cleansing and he's "right in his ideas but wrong with his methods" when the woman who says "Hey, let's help the world AND protect ourselves" just gets ignored. Fucking hell.

CrimsonWarrior55

One thing I love is they demonstrate Killmonger's hypocrisy right off the bat. Criticizes the British for stealing from other cultures. Immediately steals from a culture he has no ties to cuz he's "feeling it." It baffles me how many people deified this genocidal moron.

Andy Serkis is way too sexy for how creepy Klaue is supposed to be lol

This was also just Disney cashing in on the black excellence/BLM trend at the time. As good as the movie is and as phenomenal of a performance Chadwick gave, a lot of people seem to forget this.

Skip all the rest and just go to infinity war ngl

I'm sorry buy M'baku is one of the best. He's very traditional. The general is his wife yes, but his steed knows her as mom. That's why it stopped without him saying anything. The steed knew better, that's why it licked her 😆

Fun fact, Chadwick originally auditioned to play Drax of destroyer but after seeing his read, the Kevin Feige is “no I have something special for him. He’s too regal.”

Uncle Urdnot

kendrick did the soundtrack to the movie. so it be cool if you react to it

I like that the 2 main white actors are andy serkis who played smeagol and Martin Freeman who played Bilbo Baggins from the Hobbit and lord of the rings movie. Making the the Tolkien white boys.

Is it bad that the killmonger haircut in video games is just the equivalent to white characters default brown hair and beard look now but for black...

Hexx Gear

they really gave Killmonger the Killmonger hairstyle

Nick

Killmongers last line is still one of the hardest in cinema history.

Tim The Grim

Disney screwing over their own projects? I should be surprised, and yet I'm not.

Joey245

God this movie makes me somber yet so happy. RIP to legendary Chadwick Boseman. One of the brightest, at his peak, but gone too soon😭

bc@t

You may notice that many of the computer effects in this film weren't on par with other Marvel films. Disney effectively dropped the ball on this film, ultimately assigning work to the VFX team last minute, expecting them to do half a year's to a year's worth of work in only 2-3 months before the movie's release. The big fight near the end of the film was ripped apart by experts because it breaks visual guidelines when doing such scenes. You don't do black on black in darkness. Ultimately, the VFX team did not have the time to give that fight the attention it deserved.

KatoBen

I LOVE this movie.

The Seven Deadly Sins

But I really do like that Killmonger's plight is acknowledged as a weakness in Wakandan society.

Noodle

Biggest issue with the movie is that the cgi isn't too terribly good at times.

i was going to go sleep... WAS BEING THE OPERATIVE WORD. LFGGGG

Omer Durrani

oh baby I've been waiting all day

Ranginald Vagel

Before I even star. This.. THIS is what I've been waiting for since you started. Well this and another thing but I'll see about that later.

Mystchevious

A very talented black film critic and writer named Marc Bernardin spoke on this movie and I'll never forget it. He talked about how white people get to point to a town in Europe and say, this is where my family is from, this is our home, and African Americans don't get to have that, it was stolen from them. Wakanda represents what could be home, what might as well be home.
