Yea Alicia....I think you some how got confused on Darkwing 2's situation. We saw him take that other mark into the shadow verse with him and not come back. Cecil later reported that Darkwing was either missing or dead since no one has seen him since. The implication is that Darkwing sacrificed himself in order to keep that mark trapped...I'm not sure what you took from that to be able to pin Darkwing as a piece of shit..

I love that, in the scene with Invincible and Kate in the hospital, Donald has a slight smile when Kate says yes. To me, that shows that he's not only okay with losing Invincible as an asset but genuinely happy for him. I think Donald keeps Cecil from completely forgetting why he took the job, despite his compromises.

The only thing I can think of to give her this impression is when Darkwing tried to trap our Mark. Mark threatened him and he caved quickly and let Mark out, even though he believed out Mark was a threat to the world. So I think she believes he would just repeat himself with the evil Mark.

52:00 Where did you get that characterization of Darkwing? Dude literally went crazy fighting crime in a cursed city and is trying to prove that he is a good person after getting help. He would absolutely sacrifice himself to protect the world. 53:30 Cecil would listen to what Mark is going through, but he would then use that information to manipulate Mark. A lot of reactors judge Mark as being too harsh here, but he is actually being smart by keeping his distance from the man seeking to control him and his brother, but still offering to help and work together when the world needs him

In the comics both Rex and Invincible evaporate due to the heat level of the explosion. In the show the only aftermath they show is Rex’s (or Invincible’s) shadow imprinted into the wall, which is a real thing that happened to the victims of the atom bomb at Hiroshima and Nagasaki

I was so emotional towards the end of assassination classroom that i still haven't watched the finale, i can't handle it bro.. rex's death was meh, the playboy character who almost possibly shown that he could be loyal to one woman is not really redemption to me. he was kind of a jerk at the start who had sex with whoever he wanted, and he was kind of a jerk at the end who would have sex with anyone that would want to. He always stood up to people and spoke his mind. his real development to me was approximately one episode where he realized that there was more to life than trying to be a hero and that maybe he could live a normal life.

*MARVEL CINEMATIC UNIVERSE AND ASSASSINATION CLASSROOM SPOILERS FOR THOSE HAVE NOT FINISHED OR SEEN THEM* There have only ever been three times where I have ever cried at a character death. The first was when Spider-Man got dusted in infinity war, though that was more an angry cry, like "how dare you kill my favorite?!" I was also like 10 when it came out. The second was was when Koro Sensei died, but that was also partly because it was the series finale. Also yeah, I know it's not usually a tearjerker, but it was for me. The third was several years later: Rex's Death. Dare I say it, including Zuko's, Rex has the best redemption arc I have ever seen. While the scenarios and circumstances are not realistic, his character growth is. He begins the series as kind of a dick, then he cheats on his girlfriend. A realistic asshole right in the same vain as Eve's parents. Then, at the end of season one, you at least know he's a good person ultamitely when he's cleaning up damage from the chicago fight and putting his personal stuff aside. Then in season two, not only do you see him grow steadily, but also have a really nice talk with Eve that shows how much he genuinely cares about her whether they're dating or not. Then, of course, he gets shot in the head. On screen. And then he gets up! He's not dead! Millions cheer at the screen! And of course, while surviving being shot in the head isn't very realistic, what is realistic is that his life flashed before his eyes, he didn't like what he saw, and started seriously putting in effort to change himself because of it. Next, you see him being good friends with Mark even more than just banter. He even pushes Mark to date Eve purely because they are both his friends, and he wants them to be happy! He stands up to Immortal, a character we've all kind of grown to hate, and quits the gaurdians! Along side that, he really starts developing romance with Rey, and we see him improving himself even more, and letting himself be happy. Then, we get to this episode. Even if you don't figure it out by the time Rex says that he's finally, *finally* happy, you figure it out by the time he says he'll be right back. You know he's going to die. And to top it all off, they give him one of the most heroic, self-sacrificial, badass deaths I've ever seen from a character in media. I love Rex Splode. I loved him before, but I never would have been sobbing the way I am while I'm writing this until he was taken from us. I fucking love Rex Splode.

That's a really dumb stance to have. The adaptation is not just for people that read an obscure comic over 20 years ago. It's for the new set of fans that got into it BECAUSE of the show. Between that and people not keeping their mouth shut whenever a certain character gets brought up, it's fans like that that make the community worse.

I see your point, but I don't see him as whiny. To be honest it's kind of difficult. On one hand, Mark is still human, and I cannot imagine any real human going throught the shit mark has back to back to back. I like Mark as a person. On the other hand, I think he's a terrible superhero. I get he really doesn't have a choice in the matter, but he knows that and needs to accpet it. The reason I like a lot of superhero media is to feel the hope that the superhero genre is supposed to bring. And while I get that Invincible is a twist on the genre, that doesn't mean I enjoy mark only win fights against essentially normal people, not the super-beings he's supposed to be fighting, when he's apparently the most powerful person on Earth. I really hope he puts in serious work in the conquest fight.

its a shame they really tone down how muscular characters are in the show because conquest looks less like just a bigger dude and more like an absolute brick shithouse who ate two mr olympias, so him being above was terrifying when he looked like he was as beefy as 3 omnimans stuck together. easily built like the incredible hulk lol He actually looked significantly more jacked when we saw him in a flashback in i think s1 showing that viltrumites are a warrior race of conquerors
