Remember kids: Don't drink and Dragon ^^

Bill Dieterich

If your homeowner's insurance doesn't cover acts of God, you're getting scammed. In America, I've never heard of anyone saying an act of God isn't covered.

Michael

Yo how could I forget about that crazy shit with Tama. Op is cruel for that

GrimPitbull

Way Alicia feels about kids and Otama never have her watch "Grave of the fireflies." She would pass away.

Carlston Solar

Kaido wakes up after the fight: damn, i have such hangover...

Faroth

28:00 it is cannon in the MCU that insurance compannies sell an specific insurance against villain/superhero collateral damage, that includes damage caused by their fights or by Hulk, which was a debate because hulk is a 'force of nature'... However, insurance companies in the mcu do not cover damage caused by thor, loki or any asgardian, because that fits as "an act of a god"

Faroth

The same myth that gave birth to Magikarp and Gyarados

Lucas Prestes

Wapol literally lost at the very start of his arc.

PrivateXimmy

Lol I was so confused on that part, like huuuuh

RedLil Sleepy

Every single bit of it.

Defracto

for all of you who havent figured it out yet, the only reason holdem captured tama is so she can use her power to tame the stomach lion, thus freeing him from unnecessary pain, the report kaido was talking about is reporting on her supposed desertion.

Draconic

Which ones?

Anzac-A1

Does he though? I mean yeah, tarot is kinda silly, but he's not that bad.

Anzac-A1

This arc in One Piece doesn't hold any punches. There's a lot of dark sh!t that happens, and that's actually why I like it so much. I'm not the biggest One Peice fan, but Oda was cooking with this.

Forerunner

we already had enough trouble with the Flying Kars in jojo's

Yagi di Hoshi

At about 12:00 when Kaido is drunk flying, this is why the idea of flying cars should NEVER come to fruition IMO.

NANLIT

Hawkins deserves all the hate.

Defracto

i think after or at 1K they finally start doing 1 chap per episode no? we'll just have to endure the pace xD

ShiniBot

ay whyd she say hes 500 years old 😭

Burke

Then she will never leave her ROOM! 🤣

Chamoun101

Dang the episode didn't reach where I thought it was, they really don't even animate a full chapter.... like sometimes they animate half a chapter, thats insanity. but at least it looks nice.

Memento Forever

My man Kaido is not that old XDXD

Eric

Starting to get glimpses of Toeii starting to step up their animation

Sebastian

i know guys, lol. very much an iykyk both for Infinity War & Kaido's Devil Fruit

Yagi di Hoshi

No wonder kinemon got triggered by dragons back in punk hazard...also when Luffy was beating up kaido +0 +0 +0 damage lmao

RedLil Sleepy

There's the big bastard

Vendacator

it was so sad having oda kill so many named character in one go.

millecamps

she should def do one for the raid espically for then

Icy

Lets be honest it was kinda funny

Karatsuki

The day Oda kills someone without a single flashback Alicia is gonna be in total shambles

Karatsuki

I must have a pretty fucking fast brain because I didn't think so at all lol. Ain't no way they are killing the majority of the main cast by "big fucking fire breath" and not milking their deaths for plot. That would just be sloppy writing lmaooo

WillGlacier

like when whitebeard pulled up on Sakazuki from behind.

Chris White

It is called the "fish fish fruit, mythical model: Azure Dragon." It's based off the myth of a carp that ascended a great waterfall and was transformed into a mighty dragon.

Chris White

We need it NOW!! I wanna see Luffy keep hammering away on Kaido!

Chris White

...bro...that is Not funny.

Chris White

Kaido is the embodiment of "I wish there was some kind of way of making drinking more fun . . . *sees car keys*"

WillGlacier

ERM ACTUALLY

WillGlacier

Otama really did remember that soup and apple for the rest of her life. Good for her.

ThatoneGuyoverThere33

I dont know whats funnier. Thinking one piece will kill named characters randomly or thinking theres a chance the villain loses this early

Cole Savoie

"This is everything I wanted." LOL, no Alicia, this is only the beginning. Everything only gets better from here.

Reise M.Lukas

Um... Accualy Kaidos devil fruit is called the Fish-Fish Fruit(Uo-Uo no Mi).

Dawid

with how much shes enjoying this arc, I'd say it'll happen soon

PostageBread

We need a big marathon ngl

TTJek

The reason it's "acts of god" and not "natural events" is to keep it vague as possible, because something like climate change isn't natural, but it's direct effects are still unpredictable and beyond human control. Arguing that a pizza needs to be delivered because a tornado was caused by climate change isn't as reasonable with the current wording. EDIT: To be clear, I don't mean "act of god" is perfect choice of words either, but it's both vague and clear enough for it's intended purpose. Insurance companies are just piggybacking on that defense and it's vagueness, even though nothing is preventing them from fulfilling their contracts. It's bullshit, but that's Common law in action and the fault is the government not doing it's job to fix it. Morally it's also on the insurance companies for abusing the loophole, but the intention of Common law is equal treatment under the law and loopholes can be a side effect of that. It's good on paper and helps keep courts more consistent than Civil law courts, where laws are more interpretative, but it relies on actively keeping it up to date and fixing loopholes as they are found. Unlike in Civil law courts, where a single a bad court decision only affects that decision, Common law courts bad decisions are open for abuse until they are fixed.

I'm following way too many nsfw accounts to use a name here

Wano arc animations go crazy! 🔥🔥

Hassan Ali

KAIDO IS NOT A FISH- KAIDO IS NOT A FISH- KAIDO IS NOT A FEEEEEESH.........

Yagi di Hoshi

Also, hilarious username.

Anzac-A1

Why can't we just say "natural events" etc? I really dislike the apparent need to use religious wording. Like I said, insurance pretty much will always cover natural disasters etc. Good luck trying to justify not paying out when someone's lost their home.

Anzac-A1

Alicia: "I'm so sad!" *epic fight starts* Alicia: "Ooh, never mind! Pretty lights!"

Anzac-A1

Entirely agreed with it being bullshit, but the wording "acts of god" just means "forces beyond human control". While the words can have religious meaning, it's still a legal phrase that defines when something unanticipated is beyond human control. A non-insurance example would be a business not providing a contracted service during a tornado. They shouldn't have to specify not providing said service during such events, so the phrase exists and is open enough to not make it specific about what kind of natural event is in question. But I agree 100%, that SHOULD mean insurance HAS to cover acts of god, not the other way around. That's the damn point of insurance, to cover for unforeseen variables beyond human control. Writing in your contract that you won't do something because of an "act of god" is ridiculous and against the entire concept!

I'm following way too many nsfw accounts to use a name here

Also, it turns out that since the general consensus of manmade climate change, the use of "acts of god" as a defense etc has been called into question.

Anzac-A1

27:53 The fact that insurance in the US gets away with the whole "Acts of God" thing is BS. For one, what if you're not religious? Besides, I'm pretty sure insurance pays out for earthquakes etc.

Anzac-A1

I mean in the moment you feel it, only after your brain catches up and is like yeah no way.

Speed1247

she really thought they killed off half the crew like that instantly? lol wow

vincent shiflett

Episode 915 would’ve been the perfect way to end the binge
