2025-03-17 17:08:05 +0000 UTCCaring for crew members is just one thing. Someone mentioned that he found Perona as a child, so fair enough there, but what of the others? Like I said, a flashback would be nice. Look at other previous antagonist in the series. Croc doesn't get a flashback but he is developed in Impel Down and Marine Ford, Blackbeard is introduced being sympathetic and encouraging Luffy. Lucci didn't care about his subordinates at the time, but gathered Kaku to join his rank after. Moria just has the sole traits of Caring for his crew and nothing else. He is still very much unlikeable.

2025-03-16 17:55:15 +0000 UTCi never thought about this but would Otama's devil fruit work on the Minks, the only reason her devil fruit worked on Speed was because the smile devil fruit made her part animal, but would that same reasoning apply to a naturally animalistic humanoid race. Also, the thing about mythical zoans is that they have special abilities that would be similar to other devil fruit powers, for instance Sengoku, his mythical zoan allows him to grow larger and emit shockwaves, both of which could be powers of paramecia devil fruits. In Devons case, i wonder if it has the same weaknesses as Bon Clays devil fruit, but considering its a mythical, probably not.

Could you imagine Big Mom going to an island on her own to save a crewmate? Or could you picture her, after hearing said crewmate was too busy playing to keep in touch, just being happy to see said crewmate? Moria just seems like a good captain to follow.

2025-03-16 13:20:49 +0000 UTCBon Clay has the Mane Mane no Mi, it lets him transform but is a Paramecia and he has to touch the one he wants to impersonate, while Catarina Devon ate the Inu Inu no Mi, Model: Kyubi no Kitsune, Kitsune as you might already know from other media are notorious tricksters they are said to impersonate people and / or appear as humans which is why Devon has the ability of metamorphosis, we don't know if she is limited or what her conditions for it are though.
