Fisk having to face the wall and paralyzed to intervene between his parents is... To relateable, my stepdad never physically harmed my mom but they got into very nasty fights and i couldn't do anything about it so i had to run away to my room every time and try to ignore the screaming and the yelling.... I'd spend the rest of those days shaking from nerves and stress. Never cried and only spoke up once.

You asked why he has a tummy on him when Fisk seems to eat so healthily. In the comics, and I think the show, he has a 2% body fat ratio and roughly 350 pounds of muscle. He is VERY healthy, he just doesn't look it.

Okay but if i say "le'em try a sniff of cocaine" it doesn't sound that good of an idea anymore-
Also kids are not stupid, you just have to genuinly teach them of the dangers and stuff, i never had a "sip of alcohol" as a kid, never wanted to try as a teannager, and i don't like the concept of it as a 24 y/o young adult, the only 2 times i ever tried to drink were a single glass of piña colada during my graduation party (didn't really like it, why ruin something so good with alcohol), and for the brindis during my brother's wedding (tought "this once cause incredibly special occation", couldn't get past a single sip, hated the flavor)

That's definitely supposed to be a French omelette that he makes, so no filling - usually only eggs and butter, which feels odd at the surface level. (And also feels odd with the shots of him flipping it in the air the way that he did, but we'll just ignore that as a need for more dynamic looking coverage...) With Fisk being a big and rich guy, I feel like you'd expect him to make an American style omelette, with a bunch of stuff inside that could feel very indulgent. But, the fact that he opts for a French omelette instead is very telling. A French omelette is a surprisingly difficult bit of cooking, because it requires full control over your heat; it's supposed to come together, but have no color to it - pure, simple, and perfect.
So, we can surmise that his opting for this style of omelette is a reflection on how he feels. When he's asleep and having a nightmare, he has no control. But, when he's awake, he's the Kingpin - he feels he has all of the control. When he's the Kingpin, he feels he can shape the city into that pure, simple, and perfect place that he wants it to be.

He handled that by making the story that he was fighting the Devil of Hell's Kitchen. So the sub was probably opened as a side-effect of the fight... You see, it makes some sense and these are cops investigating a cop. 2 of the cops that came in also worked for Fisk and more than likely knew that the last one also worked for Fisk.

It is part of what makes me love this version of Fisk. He is incredibly strong and his presence is intimidating. But that isn't what makes him dangerous and he doesn't rely on it. He is a soft-spoken, contemplative man, who waits and listens.

Kids always want to do what they're not supposed to do, so instead of prohibiting alcohol let them try a sip.
In my experience this is the best way to keep kids/teenagers away from alcohol/drugs in general.
I had my first sip of beer with maybe 10 or so and the next time I drank alcohol was when I legally was allowed to during some kind of family party (probably a birthday), because I thought of alcohol as nasty until then.
If anyone is thinking of doing this with their kids don't mix the alcohol with anything sweet, because that's going to have the opposite effect.

A huge reason we are flashing back to fisks childhood is more than just showing his tendencies, but also to mirror the fact that now that the russians are gone he is the "child" of the current arrangement IMHO. Fisk is in buisness with the Triads and Yakuza (and yes of course in reality both of those arent one giant entity, but in media they are usually portrayed similar to one) both are operating with international ties. He may work as a faciltator of cooperation but he has never had the control over them that he did the russians. This episode is him struggling to keep up his presence in front of them. Madame Gao's interactions with him always came across extra shady. She invited herself to his home, she took control of HIS underling wesley and had him sent away, and she kind of subtley called him a fool for not realizing that she is way more aware than she lets on.

Dude- The fact Fisk's mother wasn't shocked and instantly told Fisk after comforting him to get the saw...She must have been meditating on it for a while before Fisk finally stood up for himself and his mom. He just pulled the trigger before she could.

I think it's clear she was saying "listening to your mom get beat and not stopping it" from her point of view, now, as an adult. Her emotional and media literacy are too high for me to actually believe she meant to compare a child's actions during a stressful situation to her own as an adult.

My SO makes an amazing trifold omelet.
It's as much cheddar as egg, topped with green onion the same way. Sometimes some fresh tomato as well.

How are you comparing you as an adult stopping other adults who are arguing to a CHILD who has clearly been mentally abused not immediately stopping his dad who is much older and stronger from being violent.

I agree with you on Omelettes being simplisticy beauty in it.
i do use the Cream or Heavy Cream, Never herd of using Sausages in an Omelette, i usually cook them with Bacon and Cream Corn, So the Idea of Sausages or even Pork Chipolatas seems like i might have to try next.
only use MSG, Australian Pink Salt and black pepper.
I used to love a bit a cheese or Tamatoes in it but i've had Chemothorpy and my Taste buds are stuffed, Acids like Tomatoes, Lemon Over Power everything.
Im Australian so it's not American Bacon.

22:12 yeah “everyone has a price” but to be fair, he didn’t really have a choice did he? They went to him because they had no other choice, they weren’t going to just let him say no, so he chose the carrot so he wouldn’t get the stick

Especially with a man as violent as his dad. He just watched his dad beat the tar out of the kid that beat him up too. There is no world in which anyone should assign the responsibility to do something to a child. She was kinda out of line for that and all i could think was that she was lucky her parents were good cuz if i tried that with my dad id have had marks for weeks for telling him what to do and trying to step up to him

Omelettes are beautiful because they look like fancy food but in actuality they're one of the easiest meals you can make.
Personally, I don't add cream to the egg mix, but I did start adding extra flavor by putting salt and spices into the egg mix directly. I tomatoes are great but I always mix in some mushrooms, shredded cheese and occasionally spinach.
I'm pretty sure you could teach Rich how to make an omelette, which just makes that scene in Iron Man 2 even funnier.
