If anything, y'all assuming it is hinting at anything is giving away more hints than some mild excitement about Alicia gaining more knowledge. I also like this double standard that appears to be present. Cause I remember making a comment, excited about her almost being at WANO, y'all never accused me of hinting then, yet me being excited about her learning more about a side character is apparently hinting at something. Make it make sense.

Pointing this out doesn't make them a douche. If you want to not hint at something, keep actual names and such out of it, like "can't wait until a certain thing is shown." You know, if you HAVE to make a comment about upcoming things. Which you don't.

The Nami falling scene was entirely created by Toei, the only scene we got with her and Shinobu up to this point was Shinobu screaming and alerting the people. Robin's was in the manga, but as you and someone else said, it's either she missed them because they're better at stealth, being ninjas (and you could even say she was distracted thinking about the Ponegliffs, but who knows), or she didn't care too much about being caught because she knew she could escape/was using a body double.

2025-03-22 01:44:40 +0000 UTCThe Donald Duck Magazine (A collection of Disney Comics in a small magazine) was (I think still is, but I have not exactly been in the target audience for a while now) popular in Scandinavia. While it does have a broader spectrum of character stories in it (Such as Mickey Mouse stories, which are basically a separate universe to the Donald Duck ones), most really only cares about the Donald Duck stories. The OG Donald Duck writer, and inventor of most things associated with him, such as Scrooge McDuck was Carl Barks. Who wrote some amazingly creative adventure stories, and basically made the character who he is today. Almost all Lore can be traced back to him. His "Canon" would be followed up by the artist Don Rosa. A superfan who drew heavily from Barks stories and cared a lot about continuity (A rarity in the field). Building and expanding upon Barks stories and mentions. He wrote a wonderful series of stories, going through the life and time of Scrooge McDuck, how he grew from a poor lad in Scotland to the richest Duck in the world. The new Duck Tales series heavily draw from Barks and Rosa, and some of the people from the band Nightwish made an album based on his "Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck". Straight up just some excellent adventure stories, much like Barks. Now, the Italian Canon is much more fragmented, made by a wide variety of artists. It is perhaps mainly defined by how it often either uses its own characters unique to its own Canon, or uses characters that are very rarely used in the Barks/Rosa Canon. From this springs the Character, Paperinik. Donald Ducks superhero alter ego. Who in a lot of the standard Italian Canon Stories are just Donald Duck, but a superhero. Still clumsy, hot headed and so on. With some action abilities. While in his own specific comic stories (That are their own canon, with a good amount of continuity), he is a gigantic mecha fighting badass. I am personally not the biggest expert on this branch, but what i have read of them are a lot of fun. Marco Rota is one of the Italian artists, who among other things have also tried to give Donald Duck an origin story, akin to what Rosa did for Scrooge (These two origins are fully at odds with each other). He is sorta loosely connected to the Italian Canon, but quite often just does his own thing. Among other things having a series of stories about one of Donalds ancestors who defended the shores of Scotland against Vikings. Finally we got the new Duck Tales Canon, that draws both on the old Duck Tales series (Which I have never seen) and a lot on not just the works of Barks and Rosa, but also slightly on the Italian Canon.
