I just wish that with all the amazing character development that Sanji got, that he should’ve been over this perv gag by now. I know some people would say that ‘Sanji isn’t Sanji without the perv gag’, but I honestly think that if it isn’t pushed as much as it is in the anime that Sanji would be a lot more people’s fav character. Hell, if he wasn’t so pervy, I’d probably have him over Zoro in my top 5 fav one piece characters.

But I feel like that’s one of the only times when Sanji’s been blatantly depraved in pre- timeskip. Also, back then in Baratie, he was an actual charismatic ladies man, as the women loved him. I just feel like perv jokes, along with most other gags with the strawhats, have gotten exacerbated in the post timeskip. But honestly, I just dislike the perv gag entirely in any anime, even when it’s beloved characters like Jiraya and Roshi. Also, imma steal the “Mandela effect-ing yourselves” thing, that was a bar ngl.

Pre timeskip Sanji was exactly the same, hell the whole invisible perv in the bathhouse thing was coined in Thriller bark when he met Absalom. I don't understand this whole "pre timeskip Sanji has so much charisma with his pervyness" take because he absolutely did not, hes not changed a bit since the timeskip, the only arc he was actually especially bad was Fishman Island

During pre timeskip, the jokes were made in a way where it wasn’t creepy and Sanji actually had charisma, but ever since post timeskip, the creepy and depraved Perv jokes have just been overbearing imo.

Yet, he got inhuman strength. Big difference though, Queen is cruel while Obelix has a very soft heart. It's nice to see French inspirations in such a popular japanese manga !

But yeah, keep in mind Th at people like Rayleigh have been using Haki for DECADES, so they have Full mastery of it. Luffy only trained with it for 2 years. There’s still a Lot to learn.
