Award live triangle?

Lightinger

I'd love for you guys to watch the xmen evolution series. It's write beautifully and they get rid of the award live triangle

Baron Salt

It's just Angle. He's only archangel when he is under apocalypse control

Baron Salt

I wish Archangel had a bigger role to play in the movies, such a good character.

LordVed

I think the writers did Cyclops dirty because a lot of the comics did him dirty. But in the comics they were able to make him a far more flawed character. They also did the same to Wolverine. But the purpose was to have their Cyclops vs Wolverine comics.

DrCatspaw

I agree. But I get it. General audiences weren't ready for a 'actually he got his powers from an elder god' story.

DrCatspaw

I love the sudden cut after the woman locked teh door. It went from sunset to PITCH BLACK NIGHT in a second XD

FlaschenJoe11

They changed it in this movie, but Juggernaut technically wasnt even a mutant. They got their powers from a magic gem, so they wouldn't actually lose their powers.I love the actor, but didn't think it was a good Juggernaut depiction, including the story and costume design.

Michael Mangskau

it'd be so fun if they'd watch X-Men Evolution :P

TheBulleN

Second comment, but also fun fact! It's not stated in the beginning or in the post credits scene, but Professor Xavier has a secret brain dead twin brother he never mentioned in the comics that only existed in a meta-context to have a back up for Xavier to come back via mind transfer. This was WAY before Krakoa where the mutants learned how to cheat death and have a respawn feature. That's how he comes back in the post credits, the brain dead patient he had a ethics class with his students over was his twin brother.

PokéBoyBB

its just short for Katherine, her real name, she also sometimes goes by "Kate"

KuroOberon

Whenever the concept of a “mutant cure” gets brought up, my only thought is just- “Give it to the mutants.” If the mutants had it, they’d most definitely make sure it would stay as a voluntary procedure. You must be 18 years or older to volunteer for the cure unless your mutant power is potentially dangerous. That’s it. All problems solved. The mutants who are killing people by existing get cured and the mutants who have control can keep their powers if they so choose. The only real dilemma is Non-Human passing Mutants. Would they want to keep their physical mutations or take the cure and pass as a human. In the comics, there’s a real problem that regular people are more discriminatory to mutants with physical mutations than mutants that can pass as human.

PokéBoyBB

Someone will probably correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure they call her Kitty because it's a nickname for her mutant name, Shadowcat.

MaxRenRez

Magneto took his ability to turn others into mutants at face value, not seeing that it killed them shortly after. He also claimed that the cure was permanent at face value. Wolverine makes a great point early on: if you cage a beast, it gets angry. If Professor X had never partitioned Jean's mind, we may have never had this problem in the first place.

Tyler Cloar

Yeah this one has big bombastic moments and great commentary but the story is a mess and this one is also directed by another problematic director, Brett Ratner, who has done some equally shitty awful things to people working for him.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Oh no, please no.

Crazyone

Honestly though, cyclops deserves all the hate. He is the ONLY mutant I don't like

Karatsuki

This was honestly better than i thought it would be

Gildarts1#fan

He's also not a mutant ha just has a fraction of a gods power though I can't remember witch one

Patrick McIntyre

dont forget deadpool 1,2, 3, and logan

Ilover69

fun fact: the Juggernaut is Prof X's Brother

Ben Iske

I think Wolverine and Storm would've been kinda hot together, don't hate me

M1 Abram

I've very excited for the X-Men to hit the MCU so we can get more proper use of their powers (and team-up combinations). The movies have cool moments every now & then, but most of the time it feels so staged & cheap. Like Pyro in the animated series is making his fire into crazy creatures; he's not just some glorified flamethrower. Also, Magneto's power is to control electromagnetism, meaning he can also control light and electricity too... (which also makes Scott's line in the 1st movie doubly dumb when he tells Storm to fry Magneto because the dude would just absorb it). It's also why Magneto is often depicted as very buff despite his age because he can also use his powers to boost both his body & mind's performance (and likewise could boost Charles' mental capabilities). Oh, and why didn't Magneto's very first move when the X-Men show up is immediately fling both Wolverine & Colossus far far away into the water? More than anything, though, I'm hoping they actually give a damn about maintaining continuity unlike Fox.

Rhodair

DO NOT FORGET LOGAN i didnt hear it on the list but LOGAN WAS THE BEST

WindWarriorPlays

Wolverine is the only one who can stop Jean because of the combination of his Healing Factor, and his Feeling Haxxor

Nicholas Reed

Just in case people are curious, kitty pryde’s code name is “shadowcat”. In the comics she gained a miniature dragon as companion. Its name is Lockheed

Ghost

Considering that you were still waiting for Secretary Hank's x-men name to be revealed, the number of times Wolverine and Prof X said "the beast" to each other in the scene where they were talking about Jean was sending me

Nicholas Reed

Man, this movie was such a disappointment to me when it came out. I'd seen the animated series tackle the Phoenix saga, and the first ever real comic book I read was a big trade paperback of the Dark Phoenix saga that I got from the library. When I watched X2, and saw the stuff with the flames in her eyes, and the shape rising out of the water, I was so psyched, and then when they finally had trailers for this one, I was so pumped, and it was just... this :/

daverboy

For a more, and accurate, comprehensive explanation of the Phoenix, I highly suggest watching the 90's X-Men animated series! Also, it's just a damn fun cartoon to watch.

NegativeArms

It's like whoever wrote this movie only ever saw the intro of the X-MEN show from the 90's and just assumed juggernaut was a mutant even though there's an episode that explains how he got his powers from the Crimson Gem of Cyttorak and someone tries to take it away from him
