ngl, your ashes being used to make a brick to smash nazis with is the most metal thing ever and it's 100% the way I'd want to go.

Also... Alicia and Koma completely failed in seeing Vel's perspective, the same way they failed to see Timm's. Somehow im not surprised.

I LOVE Syril and Dedra, because it is very rare when we get to meet competent characters that feel nuanced who are also Loyal to the Empire. When it comes to Star Wars there are always just 3 types of characters that serve under the Empire.... Stupid, incompetent and entitled little shits who serve the Empire because it benefits them. Incredibly competent and smart people... but who are cartoonishly evil like Palpatine (still love him tho). Or competent and nuanced characters who are loyal to the Empire at first but end up switching sides at some point (Iden Versio was such a disappointment). Dedra and Syril are such a breath of fresh air because you can see the humanity in them but still choose to be loyal to the Empire because they believe in the idea of Order, and i FREAKING LOVE IT.

Julio Castillo

Well, "Innocent." He is an ass.

Now that they are done, i think the implication is the Mon Mothma(sentor lady) INTENTIONAL threw her husband under the bus about the gambling, using him as a scapegoat to cover for the funds EVEN THOUGH he was most likely telling the truth about gambling. She is literally pinning the blame of THOUSANDS (400,000) of credits missing from HER personal bank account, saying he somehow ILLEGALLY accessed her account. He could very well have to be arrested and thrown in jail for money that disappeared that he actually never touched. Its to show that she is willing to even sacrifice her husband, an innocent man, in all this for the greater good.

just so you know you should probably watch a LOT more of the clone wars before you tackle season 2 of andor because I hate to tell you this but season 2 has content that would spoil some aspects of clone wars for you

sorry to um actually here, but I thought its interesting to know. The instruments were tuning when they were all playing badly. in an orchestra, all the musicians play a single note so everyone can tune together.

Soul

Did anyone else hear Cintra say "STAB"?

There is a book series called the Westmark Trilogy by Alexander Lloyd (Wrote the book the Disney film The Black Cauldron is based on). Spoilers for the last book of the series. In it, the nation is currently in a four way sorta war between the Monarchists, the Revolutionaries (Who are sorta aligned with the Monarchists) the Revolutionary Anti-Monarchists (Who are fighting basically everyone) and the Foreign Occupiers whom they are all fighting against. Throughout the entire book several characters on all three sides note that when the people of the capitol rise up, then they can win. They just need to inspire them to do so. Because the Occupiers does not have the power to quell a mass uprising there. And they all talk about making sure the timing is right. They all plan on using it to take power for their own faction. All planning around it, and around preventing the others from being the ones who lit the fuse. What ends up happening is that a popular Political Cartoonist ends up getting wasted because a street kid he was fond of got killed. Then he is found by some policemen who decide to put him in the arrest so that he can sleep it off, before he gets in trouble with the Occupiers. He dies in the Arrest, due to pneumonia and a weak health. The news of him dying after being arrested for shouting insults towards the Occupiers is what sparks the revolution. Just a spontaneous roar of rage that spread throughout the city as people learn of it and the cup it spills. Leaving all the factions scrambling just to try and ride the wave that suddenly appears. All their careful plans just being utterly shattered and crushed in the wake of human rage and spontaneity. I read that book almost two decades ago. And I still think of it sometimes. Especially when I watch that Funeral scene.

So, while in prison, Andor helped build the very weapon he's killed by.

Rowdeemunkee

Even in the gritty realism of Andor, stormtroopers armor continues to be useless.
