Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl

Rated aRRRRRRRRRR IS unironically one of funniest shit I ever heard

Fenronin (Dorian Dubourg)

At 8:10 I don't know if she was trying but that's a spot on Projekt Melody impression.

Michael

hard to watch

Mick Nunn

If I've learned anything, it's that I don't care for any of your friends, and your solo reactions are the best

Jack Kudryl

does anyone else have issues with full screening this? only the top left corner of my screeen registers the video when its full screen

Noah Benden

I never really thought about it too much, but Barbossa explains that even as skeletons they still feel. Hunger, thirst, desire, pain. I always wondered why they bothered fighting so complexly if they couldn't die, surely you just bullrush through everything at that point? No, they still feel *every pain*. Pain but no death, christ. Also Alicia love, I'ma be so real, you're so bi cause no, not getting laid for like 10 years or so doesn't make a truly hetero person be like "just this once" Now me, yes, absolutely, but I'm not straight either xD

The Force

Something I just noticed on my 40th or so watchthrough of this movie. They brought Elizabeth here for that whole thing with the blood to be repaid, knowing they'd need Turner blood to actually lift the curse. When it was revealed that Will was the actual child, they took him instead, even planning to spill all his blood in case Bill's blood was thinner in him. But why would Jack need to cut his own hand when throwing Will the coin? The blood to be repaid probably to be the blood that flows through those that took it, hence why they needed Will since they sent Bill to the depths. Everyone else probably already did the cut already. Jack already knew this, and cut his hand before throwing it to get his blood on it while will did the same with his. Just a fun little detail, showing that in the end, he did always know what he was doing, even if there were some massive bumps in the road to get him here.

"i'm unspeakably wet" killed me

Something I gotta say, I love how fast Jack adapts his plans to the situation. I've always been of the opinion that he always has a sort of overarching plan for what he has in mind, even setting up in various moments or testing things during it to see if it works. He makes adjustments as time goes on, or improvises if he can't see a way to work it in. So he both plans it all out and makes it up as he goes along. The mark of a fantastic pirate.

man, it's been forever since I've seen these as a kid

Broccoli Ben

The Pineapple pizza Thing. I am indifferent to it. I will eat it if it's there, and i won't miss it if it's not there

Belrevan

As a blacksmith, I have to say that the sword fight sequence in the shop is not very realistic because a lot of the stuff in the shop doesn’t make any sense, but they did make it look very entertaining

Daisy Azuras

When i was a kid, I heard his delivery of "nigh uncatchable" as "an ion catchable" and i was like, woah what kind of ship is an "ion catchable?!"

I'm not sure what the first VHS I owned was, there were several bought for me and my brother that could potentially count, and at least a few I bought myself, but I couldn't tell you which of those were first. I can tell you my first DVD though. DVDs were pretty new, and my parents didn't think I should get one because they were just going to be a dying fad like Beta. I really wanted one though so I save my money and at age 16 I drove myself to the store and bought a DVD player and one DVD that I watched over and over for a long time until I finally started getting more. That movie was American Pie.

Do you know how much time I wasted watching Pirates of the Caribbean movies instead of working on my finals last semester? Might be the same amount of time for my current finals now that you released these reactions.

ShadesKill

Damn.... i completely forgot that Zoe Saldaña (AKA Gamora) was in this Movie.

Julio Castillo

2:19:45 Before The Gaslight District's "Cement! Cement! Cement!" there was "Bootstrap's bootstraps!"

Elias Cristerna

4:30 He learned from that and actually predicted the Honey scam. I loved his borderline shizo sounding rant on it.

Blooocki :3

Turns out the Black Pearl was the baddie we had in the crew the whole time.

Wil DeYoung

its more about drag, lung underwater cant be full of air if they didnt have air in to begin with. its similar to if you pull a dumbell through water yes its heavy but it can be harder to pull a parachute, not because of air but because of water resistance.

Thomas Wilkins

When Jack was saving her, it wasn't that the clothes were heavy; I think it was that the corset/clothes were keeping her lungs from being full of air, which is vital when needing to float. With her lungs on lock-down, it made carrying/floating her much harder.
