The strippers were all legit strippers (according to director commentary), Bob who DP doesn't kill is Hydra Bob a character from the comics. The red in the chems mix they give to DP is also wolverine's cells since DP has wolv's healing factor. Also Negasonic was picked because she was a one off character that marvel didn't really care about but after this movie they brought the character back because she exploded in popularity. Oh also Ryan refuses to admit but heavily hints that he is responsible for the movie leak that helped get the movie see full production. Lastly Ryan has said that when was doing research for DP for Xmen origins, opened a comic book to see his first panel of deadpool being compared to him. Ryan supposedly hated what they did so much to DP in the origins movie that he walked off the set.

It seems like a forth wall break to us, and insanity to the people in the comics, but for deadpool it is all one in the same. If delusions are correct they can't be called delusions kind of thing.

Since they couldn’t do Hydra in the movie thanks to not being part of the MCU they just had Bob work for Ajax/Francis. And while it was said that his powers is curing his cancer to be more specific, it is constantly at all times curing his cancer which is what causes his appearance to look like that. He technically still has cancer but his regeneration is just constantly fighting it.

He was not happy with it and constantly makes fun of that in Deadpool and his other projects. Even having a commercial with the TV actor who plays the Flash and at the end, Ryan said ‘You’ll always be my Barry.’ And Grant Gustin said ‘You’ll always be my Hal.’ (Green Lantern’s name) with Ryan replying ‘That hurts Barry.’ 😂

2025-06-14 11:47:56 +0000 UTCSO fun fact. Ryan fought hard to keep this movie rated R despite parent protests to make it PG -13 because their kids want to see it. During the premier of the movie there was a special added bit of Ryan in a chair telling parents to take their kids out of the theater because it's a hard R movie, and then he proceeded go into very fine detail about how babies are made. Though it's nearly impossible to find it now.
