Sinners

I have a lot to say about this movie. Enjoy the commentary!!

Sinners

Comments

2:06:32 THANK YOU. I literally asked my girlfriend the same question when she had me watch it with her.

Ja’Maine Lee

I have to say, Sinners is by far my favorite movie this year. the movie itself it phenomenal with the cinmetography alone, but even past that, theres so much underlying lore that can be found in the extra material like the spotify soundtracks. easily a top 5 movie

Jaden The Kryptonian

Btw not a complaint at all but highland is Scotland, Ireland is the Riverland, which is why it’s called River-dancing what the boyos we’re doing

David-Isaac Howell-Jones

i Was also taking a sip of an Energy drink and got the living shit scared out of me.

PsyrinCall

The only reason I used to say boy was because my dad and grandpa used to say that to me especially when I did something wrong

James Fernandez

Hey, just so you know... what you described about rich sounds a lot like the absence seizures i had before I discovered i was epileptic. Im no doctor and don't take med advice from me but it's something I think more people should get checked out for.

Emeradis

Not gonna lie; I would 100% join that coven if they had a house or something I could stay in during the day. Other than the eating people part they all seem chill as fuck and the hive mind thing is definitely a plus. I would just have to knock myself out before getting turned.

Egregore

Damn, imagine playing music so goated that it not only warps the fabric of space and time itself to commune with your people in the past, present, and future; but also summons basically the devil to join the festivities.

Egregore

Maaaaaan I was not expecting to hear wild mountain thyme (will ya go, lassie, go) in a film like this aha, it's an old scottish and irish folk song, my mum used to sing it to me to sleep and now I can't hear it without crying. Shire ass music is such a funny way to describe it too, got me crying and laughing damn lol

Rai

In the hyper specific genre of, “this was a different movie in Act 1 but now there are vampires”, this tops From Dusk Till Dawn lol

Ranginald Vagel

This really makes me want to know if Alicia has seen Django Unchained and if not if she would be interested. God I love that movie.

Wil DeYoung

you should have seen this in theature the sound design alone made this movie top tier for me

yyoudothis

Man, if I stumble into my father's home after a night of watching all my friends die and fighting vampires and the first thing he tells me is to drop my guitar, that man is dead to me. Sammie had it rough.

Rx1867

only thing that might beat out this movie is mickey 17

Goonie

i love me boys c:

Thinkace

I LOVE this movie!!

The Seven Deadly Sins

So Mary was the first ever white person who got invited to the cookouts basically. At least that's my headcannon lmao

WillGlacier

I hope you react to Warfare sometime as I think it’s a contender for best movie of this year alongside Sinners in my opinion, and it’s at least worthy or nominations.

Trey Goldsworthy

so happy I watched this in the morning so that I was too tired for the jump scares to hit me. Bless up

WillGlacier

I thought Stack snapping out of it was part of Annie's charm that she did magic stuff on earlier in the movie. Then when the master vampire died they had no one else to follow so they went on their own. Also, I would really recommend you watch the AMC Interview with a Vampire series if you really liked this.

RF

I interpreted Stack being unable to bite/kill Smoke as Annie's mojo bag protecting him, as she re-spelled it earlier when Smoke went to see her. I like both interpretations though, as they both end up being Smoke being protected by the ones he loves.
