To me... Law only seems more capable than Kid because he's smarter and better at strategizing in general, but power-wise.... they're on the same level (with Luffy being stronger than both of them obviously). Also... Big Mom is not being as big of a hypocrite as it seems, She does do shady stuff like being a questionable or down-right terrible mother to the majority of her children, and even tho taking out her citizen's lifespan as a sort of tax does seem like a shitty thing to do... her citizens do it willingly, and those bits of lifespans get turned into new Homies... which is something that not only benefits Big Mom but also increases the security of Totto Land, which allows a better quality of life for the normal people. We know for a fact that at her core... Linlin is not a evil person (like Doffy, for example)... if someone else offers her kindness and expect nothing in return... she will also return that kindness to them. The only thing she did that is comparable to what Kaido's subordinates did is her craving rampages... but that's not really her fault since those are more like a physiological condition, something she cannot control. Im not saying that she's a Paragon of virtue among Pirates like the StrawHats are, far from it.... im just saying that her Modus Operandi as a Pirate is significantly more fair and benevolent than Kaido's.

When he was Orochis assassin Killer was angry an sad all the time so he had to laugh. Now that he has his emotion somewhat in check he doesn't laugh as much but is surely forced to smile under that mask. I base that purely on speculation and the fact that non of the other SMILE eaters (villagers and Kaidos men) always laugh and are able to just smile.

Plus, with everything he’s been through with the strawhats, as well as having to survive on that dangerous island during the 2 year timeskip, there really isn’t any reason for him to still be getting scared of opponents like Page One of all people.

However when you really think about it he's just a normal teenager who happens to shoot well on a crew full of absolute monsters. & I think people (myself included) forget that it's literally impossible to be brave without first feeling fear. I'd argue he's braver than anyone on the crew, because he's always the most afraid.

It said that drake had a 1% chance to live until tomorrow, and in the anime, tomorrow has not come yet. Also, probability isn't right or wrong u less it's a 100% or 0%, any other percentage and it's just "oh you got lucky" sort of deal. Like winning the lottery and saying the percentage was wrong because despite having. A low chance of winning, you still won.

She's stuck with some core mentalities of a child that she never had the chance to grow out of due to mother Carmel. Add onto that, she was extremely emotional from the outset, and at this point there's a mixup in the emotion from Olin and Linlin. Even if she got her memories back she still also remembers what happened when she DIDN'T have them, and those emotions would still be raw and strong. Part of your memories is how you *felt* at the time too after all. So the way I see it, this is "Olin" attacking Kaido's subordinates, and Linlin is just... childish enough to let it happen

2025-06-26 03:25:57 +0000 UTCIn Big Mom's mind, she HAS cultivated a nation based on freedom and happiness. Her morals are very twisted from childhood so she tends to be way too selfish. But she DOES take pride in a land of great diversity, and enjoys seeing her people happy and thriving. The soul donation is really just a form of taxation, and imo is not that much to ask for, especially compared to what most pirates (or even Marines) would demand for their protection (and similarly relative amounts of safety). Her massacres of civilians are purely unconscious - she would never do such a thing on purpose. And the only people she actually judges are those who (again with her warped sense of morals) betray her. To be clear, I'm not trying to say Big Mom is a good leader or a good person. Far from it. But she does at least TRY, and does have a lot of happy people living under her. Kaido straight up doesn't care about anyone who can't (or won't) fight in his wars. I know personally if I had to choose whether to live in Big Mom's kingdom or Kaido's... I would absolutely choose Big Mom every time lol. Honestly it's probably one of the safer places you could be in this world. Because let's be real, the One Piece world is CRAZY dangerous, and if you're in the wrong place when the wrong person starts attacking, you're not really safe ANYwhere lmao.
