The Cycle of Cerberus!

Here's a surprise for you all... I present you: The Cycle of Cerberus!

(For illustrative purposes, not a physical product)

This labor of love started as a simple seed back in April, while bouncing around some ideas on how we could follow up the April Fool's compilation that we put out back then. At some point the idea of the 12 Tasks of Hercules came up, and sparked some excitement. We had no idea how big this labour of love would turn out to be!   Diego of Paper Mage quickly sprung into action organising the grand vision, and soon we had more than 25 contributors working to make this gift for you, our supporters!

Alex of  TavernTales took charge of the writers and between them, the epic and beautifully crafted mini campaign of 12 adventures took shape! I co-ordinated the paper mini artists and between us we've put together a massive collection of more than 40 figures to use as you play out the adventure!  We also got battle maps brought to you by some of the most talented cartographers around, and to tie it all together, we even got a soundtrack!

Let me take a moment to express great thanks to everyone who contributed to this, but to Diego in particular, as he took on the daunting task of co-ordinating this entire project!

Well, we’re really proud of what we achieved, and here's what you'll get:

Adventure PDF

The Cycle of Cerberus is an adventure designed to take a group of 4 to 5 characters from 5th to 8th level. Inspired by the 12 Labors of Hercules in Greek mythology, this adaptation incorporates the classic quests, monsters, and motif of ancient myth while injecting our interpretation of the personality and flavour of the world's greatest roleplaying game. This story was written by TavernTales, Thai Williams, DM Tuz, Kraven's Keep, Simon Menanteau-Ledouble, Mike Myler, and C. A. Berlitz. It also includes a number of dynamic and evocative monster stat blocks by Tim Gonzalez that are sure to terrorize your players.

Maps

Each labor is a different challenge and there’s a map for each one, available as easy to print files, or a complete picture for your virtual table tops! These beautiful maps show off the distinct styles from TavernTales, Tom Cartos, Chibbin Grove, g0dxmode, MapGuffin, Mutenn, Mark Drummond J and Venatus Maps.

Magic Items

An adventure wouldn’t be complete without some thematic magic items for the party to keep as souvenirs (and of course to use throughout the adventure). All of these unique items were masterly crafted and illustrated by The Tavern of Trinkets

Papercraft

If the stunning maps aren’t enough, you can bring some extra dimension to the table with the unique papercraft terrain and props designed by PMal.

Original Music

We wanted to take the immersion to the next level for this collaboration, and Adventure Music achieved just that by composing five original tracks for you to use throughout the adventure.

Characters and beasts

To accompany the characters and creatures your heroes will be meeting, there is a complete arsenal of minis for you to use, so that everyone can put a face to a name. All of the artwork for these original creatures are by Kev's Lounge, Kraven's Keep, Brave Adventures, Paper Mage, Okumarts, Printable Heroes, Paper Forge, Decapitated Markers, Chibbin Grove and Trash Mob minis.

The path names in the Dropbox have been updated to prevent issues with unzipping! As for conversion, this has been released to several thousand people, so I wonder if there's a possibility of getting some sort of conversion going as a community project. Sure you can't be the only active Pathfinder player out there!

Thanks for the quick response. Unfortunately, I play and GM Pathfinder, so this would take some conversion of the monster stats.

That's correct! It was written for 5e. I'll pass on the note about the zip files to the guy who's kindly hosting the dropbox for us. Hopefully it's easily resolved

This is massive. It doesn't say what game system it is designed for, though. Is this for 5th edition D&D? By the way, when extracting the .zip file, the Windows built in unzipper kept stopping with errors about path too long. I had to use 7-zip to extract it and that didn't have any issues. It's a lot faster than the Windows unzipper, too.
