If making someone laugh could be the basis of the marriage between a goofy cartoon rabbit and his bombshell nightclub singer toon wife, then I didn't see why it wouldn't also work for these two. Plus not only do their fashion choices go well together, but she has sound-based powers and he has electric-based powers they are literally thunder and lightning.
