pretty sure she knew that Alicia was reacting to the obvious and loud crunch/snap sound it made when Al did it. Edit: she even mentions the cracking noise so are you intentionally being deaf?

2024-04-01 07:18:38 +0000 UTCAlphonse didn't snap his neck, it was just choke hold. It's not common knowledge but there are 2 types of chokeholds, and air choke and a blood choke. Obviously the air choke makes you unable to breath and and takes a long time to knock someone out. The blood choke stops the blood flow to the brain and only takes a few seconds and is a bit safer to use than the air choke. Both can result in death if improperly used. The police have actually been banned from using either of them due to using them improperly and killing people. I'm very sure the military still use them and receive a lot of training on how to use them safely.
