Weekly Minis - Spore Bomber

Doubling up on the weekly minis for the next few weeks!

Download the zip-file attached below for hi-res copies of the Spore Bomber paper mini card! The zip also contains fully illustrated assembly instructions.

If you're completely new to Kev's Lounge Paper Minis you might be excitedly asking, "There are 150 others?" Yes, yes there are!  You can find #150 here. The rest of the series can be found over at the Papercraft Dungeon Facebook page, since that's where they were published before now.

Standard Cut vs Tight Cut

In the zip-file there are two versions of the mini to choose from. The first one has our standard style outlines. They have a nice generous outline that makes them very easy to cut, and a white halo around the mini to preserve a nice, crisp silhouette without you having to cut  them tightly. If you're a beginner, definitely go with that one!  The   second has a much tighter outline. It's more difficult to cut out, but   is a more popular choice for many experienced paper miniature aficionados who have the skill and patience and tools to do it just right! If you're one of those, this style might be for you!

Cutfiles

Mike over at Paper Realms has generously donated some cutfiles for this mini! They'll work with the alt versions too! I've attached them down below! These won't be useful to you if you don't have a Silhouette automated cutter, but if you do, you should definitely check out Mike's Patreon page! If there's a set of minis you need cut out, he's probably got exactly the cutfile you need!

Where to next?

If  you're a subscriber to this Patreon at any level, you'll be able to access and download the two alternate versions of each of these minis. You'll also get the weekly minis 4 weeks early! Best of all,  you'll get access to the growing catalog of Champions Series minis!

If you have any ideas for monster minis, post them down below! (Naturally, I need them to work well for this format, so 25mm base, and stuff that is easy to reskin so that I can do some alt versions too).

Comments

Love the suggestions! I definitely would love to squeeze some animals in there... I just find it tricky to do colour variations on a lot of them. Cats and dogs might be easy enough though! As for pack animals, I have been meaning to do some pack horses. There is, of course, already a donkey, that can be found in the Vanquisher PDF. I have only ever done one Kobold, and he's not even in an action pose. (He's busy setting a huge bear trap). I intend to correct this and release as many kobolds as I possibly can in the near future!

Some familiars would be nice. Owls, ravens, hawks, pseudo-dragons, cats, foxes, small dogs, imps, quasits, etc. Pack animals with varying loads would come in handy, too. Horses and ponies are the most common, but the smaller races would use goats, dogs, and other animals. As far as monsters go, I am partial to trolls of the Norse variety and those from 1st edition AD&D, Kobolds are great! Ever seen a kobold merchant? A kobold mercenary? A kobold healer or dancing girl? I love throwing my adventuring group a curve by introducing them a humanoid in a role they don't expect. You have already made some figures in that vein, just go a little crazy with it.
