I'm loving how much you're enjoying the Dabi payoff! Dabi's (Literal) Dance. It's SOOO good! XD This is one of my favourite examples of: "So what if some people on Reddit figured it out? If that's the story you wrote, keep it. Rewriting it to one-up people on the internet who 'Outsmarted' you will just make your story shit. All your foreshadowing and threads will make no sense or go nowhere" George R.R. Martin discussed this in an interview (with Stephen King). I love this. Reward your audience for their Media Literacy 8) (& Don't punish them because you have Ego) Watching Shoto PLEADING with his dad to get it together is heartbreaking. All while Endeavour is frozen with trauma while Dabi looks ready to Kamikaze himself right here (he already finished what he spent years setting up). Also, Best Jeanist's entrance here is UP there as one of the greatest in the show (& there are a lot of good ones!) Finally, the ED isn't normally like this. They added the Baby Toya /Dabi bit for this ep. There are more... heartbreaking changes in the ED for episodes 3 & 9.
