I take care of my elderly father, and until January, my aunt. We spent the last two years battling one illness and crisis after another with my aunt, with her getting better only to drop down again until she passed this year. That song made me cry like a baby because that’s how I felt. Even now, I’m constantly asking myself if I could have done more, or different. And what you said too, Alicia, helps me a bit.

Its like old noble families vs new money families. the Vees are just ambitious since they represent all these new age vices, that they think the old generation are irrelevant.
