28:50 Watch it short stuffs. Don't think that you guys cause trouble as well. For the dwarves, I heard that a dwarf king got so greedy that a dragon come over and took over the entire kingdom. And I thought that gnomes are supposed to be great kin with spirits, but I guess that was a lie. 😏

2025-05-05 20:46:57 +0000 UTCThis is very late but poison is ingested ( ex: mouth, skin, eyes), while venom is injected ( ex: stinger, fangs, claws). I think there can be a case for this plant to be poisonous or venomous. If we would compare it to a jellyfish, both of them have stingers where they INJECT venom (in this case, a paralysis) however, we don't commonly call plants venomous even if they have stinging barbs, so I think it’s okay to call this plant poisonous even if it’s technically venomous.

2024-03-03 22:50:41 +0000 UTCWell I think the translation made people think that she thinks he's using the same sword but she said that he's always using creepy swords and told him that he should get one from dwarf's sword and not Tallman's I know about translation work and it's not a bad translation but I think people can misunderstand Namari and her competence in weapon. I didn't have problem with the translation until she pointed that out here

Like he got it off living armor before and they are following their usual path down into the dungeon so it seemed to imply it was the same group of living armor. It could be confused for the same sword. Although as you and others have pointed out apparently she is suppose to be complaining about the quality not specifically that sword. Maybe the translator went with creepy due to the negative annotations combined with the idea that he would freak out because he doesn't want people knowing about the creature in it.

2024-03-02 01:54:31 +0000 UTCSome clarification on the scene where Mr. Tansu tries to pacify the Undine: the manga actually goes into some detail about how the twins Kaka & Kiki were adopted as children by Mr. & Mrs. Tansu. Kiki even calls him "Grandpa Tansu" back when the attack starts, so the twins are just naturally worried about their surrogate parent/grandparent.

2024-03-01 22:31:03 +0000 UTCI do like that this episode dwells a bit more into the business side of being an adventurer. It has been noted in earlier episodes that this is something most people do as a job, so people like most of the party are somewhat unusual. Even the Scholarly Mr Tansu and his wife are doing it because they work for someone. So in that context I think Namaris choice makes a good deal of sense. She simply can´t afford to stay with the party. Add to this that I would also personally be at least somewhat vary of going into danger and the unknown, with a party lead by Laois, without Falin to act as a middleman/translator. There is some minor stuff from the expanded material that I would haved liked to mention in this episode. It is unlikely to crop up in the anime or plot relevant at all, but seeing that I can´t hide spoilers here I am just going to err on the side of caution, and not include it. But I am going to recommend people check out the Delicious in Dungeon World Guide, when the series is complete. It gives some neat insights into the characters, and the greater world building. You can really see how much effort the author put into it. Not to mention the oodles of doodles she has made even after finishing the manga. I think the effort put into world building, such as the explanation for resurrections, is one of the reasons I enjoy this story so much. You can feel it is made by someone who is a huge fan of Fantasy, and a wide variety of it too. Which is also shown by the artists many pieces of fanart. From making portaits of Baldurs Gate 1 & 2 companions, to her latest work of drawing all her elf waifus and husbandos from various CRPGs. From Pillars of Eternity, to Dragon Age to the Pathfinder games and Baldurs Gate 3.

I'm pretty sure she was chastising Laios for using a sword that must have been sitting around in the dungeon for God knows how long, as opposed to buying a new one that has been well maintained. It should also be noted that in the first episode stated that the dungeon was part of a country that vanished a thousand years ago, so it's no wonder why his previous sword was falling apart, and considering his new sword shares a similar aesthetic it was likely made in the same era. Although Namari calling it "creepy" is an odd description. A better description would be crappy, shabby, or piece of junk.
