2025-03-24 01:53:21 +0000 UTCin the older anime there's actually a whole section between the tower and the island that's completely skipped in this one, which is pretty weird, because some of the setup that's done in that section has it's payoff in the island section, which is actually present in the 2011 anime. there's some other stuff that's skipped in the 2011 anime too, guess they wanted to get to the new stuff quicker.
