As an amateur cook if I want something cheap and fast for myself I sometimes reach for velveta. But if I want to make a dish that actually tastes great I'm reaching for real cheddar, mozzarella, and/or whatever other cheeses suit the dish. Please try working with alternatives yourself if you have not before.

I think in that moment omniman decided to give the human way of raising a child a chance. So Mark grows up basically as a human and then gets slapped in the face with a threat that is fundamentally strange and alien to him. If he had instead raised Mark like a viltrumite from a young age, which is probably what he was supposed to have done, that would have severely shifted the boy's perspective.

That's why you end up with people who have less getting a worse learning environment. It's a pretty ugly cycle that just keeps getting worse.

We also had 3 parking lots, but it was the only public Highschool for a pretty big area.

He is working with criminals, so he was just hoping that this machine, which is built on something that the twins have used several times before, would go under the radar until he is ready and has stopped working with the twins. It makes even more sense when we realize that he is hesitant to make any moves without having his knowledge available, incase it will stop him from doing his work.

I was really worried people wouldn’t get it but I’m very surprised by how they’ve made it understandable to the point that everyone gets it. In fact there’s actually another comic that the creator of invincible wrote where that kind of dimensional travel is what the entire story is based around. It’s called Oblivion Song if you’re interested. And we also meet Bulletproof!! So fun fact about him, bulletproof is basically all the ideas they originally had for Mark, but made into another character. Instead of invincible, his name was going to be bulletproof and he was going to have that costume. But they thought Bulletproof wasn’t iconic enough and didn’t think that costume fit Mark very well.

He does not get to lie to her face and then be salty when she chews him out for the thing he is claiming is true instead of chewing him out for what she has a hunch is true. Like, how insane would she seem if it turned out she was wrong and he was just a flaky asshole? She called him on what he claimed was true. If he does not want her getting on his case for his cover story, stop telling her lies. If he doesn't trust her enough to tell her the truth, don't ask her to change her life plans for his sake.

It also makes sense for him to hate Invincible now since, from his perspective, most Invincibles teamed up with Omni-Man and probably killed a lot of people he cared about. But taking off the helmet was just dumb.

They dated for less than a year--it would be insane to expect him to share his secret with her in such a short amount of time, because that *also* shares his father's secret (from him shouting "DAD!" in public when Omni-man flew into the portal). And there's no justification for Amber yelling at Mark for being a "coward" when she knows for a fact that he just got the shit beaten out of himself to try and save people. The weird twist of her already knowing he's a superhero turns her into an emotionally abusive partner.

Either way he was lying to her. Accusing your boyfriend of being a superhero is crazy, so she chewed him out for the flaking. But "I was only flakong because I was lying to you while asking you to make major life decisions and am only telling you the truth out of desperation" wasn't going to fix the problem
