No it's exactly as Alicia said gon is understanding plus that first guy killua killed in front of him is a serial killer i no one cares if he gets killed he even deserves it. when I first watched hxh I thought the same too. They are in an exam and he wants to badly pass and can infer that that these immoral things happening around him r things he can't do nothing about as they are allowed in the exams. Killua is a kid being friends with him can be a positive influence for him to change. For ppl who care about morals like myself we can be friends with bad ppl to give them good advice to change their ways we won't be hanging out all the time but we can still be friends.

2024-06-07 18:42:06 +0000 UTCi wouldn't call Gon's attitude "understanding" i think it's more so that.... he's so naive to things outside of his life in whale island that he'll simply accept whatever comes his way as long that he thinks it's cool or if it has to do with someone he considers his friend.... like Killua. No person with a well-developed sense of morality will hear someone else say "im from a family of assassins, im an assassin too" and think "oh yeah.... im ok hanging out with this person".
