It is usually such a hard hitting moment when the op plays in the episode (even with another arrangement like here) Really goes from "oo that's the song! they played the thing!" to "huh, nice song, anyways..."

Killua surrendered without knowing that Illumi was lying about killing Gon.... meaning that Killua was scared of his brother enough to let Gon die. I really love this episode because it's the first where HunterxHunter really subverted the expectations of the audience, first with the "tournament" and not showing the majority of it, and now with the Illumi reveal and how it all transpired.

2024-03-14 17:31:35 +0000 UTCI always thought that Hisoka threatened to kill the kids at the exam or Bodaros family or something, since Bodaro cares about kids a lot (based on his answers to Netaros questions) and Hisoka is looking to the side when he talks to him, like he is looking at someone else in the room. But what you said makes sense too, I never thought of that possibility.,

2024-03-13 06:49:38 +0000 UTCIt's actually unknown to this day what Hisoka said to Bodoro (the old guy) to make him surrender. A common fan theory is that he threatened to fight or hurt Gon and/or Killua if he didn't, though I'm not too convinced about it.
