It completely ruined Robin's villain arc and surprise introduction to the crew and will do the same thin with Frankie. I remember watching this stuff for the first time and feeling like Frankie was a major antagonist, only to grow to understand his character and be alright with him becoming a straw hat. However all that is ruined since Alicia just flat out knows he joins from the intros. But everyone is entitled to consume anime how they want.

Also from what I learned, people in One Piece look more disheveled and raggedy if they gave up on their dream in life and/or never had one, whereas the people who DID follow their dreams look fit and nice or at least passable.

That's why I suggested to either stop before or go all the way. Two streams of 4 episodes each would also work very well for her schedule, so I think it's the ideal solution.

2024-03-15 02:34:45 +0000 UTCA little heads up for upcoming episodes: I'd strongly recommend watching ep. 235 & 236 together, so maybe try to plan your next streams accordingly. Given that you do double episodes, that means either doing 4 episodes in a stream up to 233 and then another stream of 4 episodes up to 237 or doing a big binge of 8 episodes up to 237 in one go, but that seems a bit too tiring IMHO. Hope that will help you plan your next streams!
