I love how they make the receptionist seem evil but I'm pretty sure she's just tired from having to deal with all these floor 200 psychos xD

Alicia may have already figured this out, but with regards to the part where Wing explains "I can't teach them nen so I taught them 'nen'," he erased 燃 (nen, or "burn") from the whiteboard and replaced it with 念 (nen, or "mind force"). In Japanese, many words and kanji have the same pronunciation with different meanings, so it's like...avoiding teaching someone what the weather is by explaining what the word whether means? Hence why the name of the episode is Nen x and x Nen (燃 and 念).

It's funny that when you get here you realize that everything before was just prologue and the real story begins now.

So.... Remember those times in the Hunter Exam?.... like after Hisoka encountered Kurapika and Leorio on Phase 4 he became so bloodthirsty even the animals around him started running away from him? that was him using Ren.
Same thing with Illumi.... the way he manipulated his own face with his needles or how he tortured the referee of the final phase to know where Gon was.... he was also using Nen.
And talking of Nen.... just gonna say it right away..... Welcome to the Best Power System in all of Fiction.

I am so curious to see what thoughts on Nen are once it's fully understood.

I love these HxH binges so much, I do hope they keep watching the Hunterpedia stuff at the end where they explain and talk about stuff we see from the episodes.

I love the metaphor "you are like someone naked in a blizzard wondering why it's cold". It is just so on point.
