So the case with Franky as a character being voiced by Kazuki Yao isn't just that they got him on the show again. Oda has said in interviews that he had Yao in mind when conceptualizing Franky. So it wouldn't be a stretch to say he made the role specifically for Yao who he is good personal friends with.

Chill, it's not that big a deal. You can figure out the context of what happened in this case pretty easily - they met up and are planning their next step. If something important does get missed, we'll let her know, but it's gotta be hard to be told constantly "Skip this, but not now, but now you can, but not this time". I was watching the livestream and sure, I scratched my head for like... 5 seconds, then I got over it like a normal person. It isn't a giant travesty. smh

Someone needa let Alicia know she missed over a minute of scenes that are part of the story. 30 secs after the recap at the beginning of the episode and 30 secs after the opening and episode title. And still no opening reaction since 237.

Okay you are accidentally skipping alot of new scenes that are leaving alot of context out for you. There in the middle of recaps and the opening and your skipping a few seconds after the opening. So now it feels like the recordings are cut.

A bit of warning, it's annoying, but often episodes open up with a recap, then do an "intro" scene which is not a recap, and finally the opening (which, btw, is safe for you to watch now). The bottom line is, it's not a given that you can just skip past the opening. It's not the end of the world if you miss some scenes, but sometimes they do set up something for the episode. The important thing is that you are aware of that, then do what you want.

Yes, I don't know why but her reaction starts 1min after the opening and title drop and is missing the arrival of the train and Luffy jumping with Nami. Edit : I also realized that there was new scenes even before the Opening in Ep 240, I even missed them on my rewatch that I did yesterday too. So I will reiterate from my comment last episode that a lot of times this arc they even put new scenes BEFORE the opening (sometimes 2 whole minutes of new scenes, and it can be annoying to check because sometimes it's no new scenes, sometimes it's like 10 sec and other times it's 1min or more so there is no consistency in how they approach this and it's pretty frustrating). I'd hate for her to miss important scenes because some of those are important new scenes. Edit² : Alicia, I created a GoogleDoc on my end with the Start Time of new scenes for the next 37 Episodes. If you want I can send you the link and you can have someone check if it's legit and I'll try to keep it updated, if you don't want it it's no big deal.
