It was due to Megumin Explosions to Castle that caused Dullahan to attack in first place. Kazuma could had tried to talk things over and Aqua did help Megumin to nail Castle few more times after first warning. Also if Aqua had better Intelligence stat she would had just spammed Sacred Undead and, in my mind, killed Dullahan after 10 second. But her Int is below average.
