Dude, they didn’t change his voice on purpose. That’s the same voice actor, he was just getting older, and his voice changed. Kids voices naturally get deeper as they age, that’s not something they can help. Your voice doesn’t just drop once during puberty and stay the same for the rest of your life, your voice typically continues to deepen, even after puberty, until your an adult.

It wasn't a conscious choice the Voice actor was going through puberty

It's actually the voice actor's own voice. The "witch puberty" thing was a handwave because the voice actor was going through puberty (actually starting in s1e18; they had to electronically alter his voice those two episodes to maintain the same voice).

Also, it's a cartoon set in a magical realm. Stop expecting logic.

Um, they already made it clear that puberty hits suddenly and hard for Witches. Gus grew about a foot in no time, so of course his voice would change quickly too.

Multiple times since episode 1 of the first season lol
Though I don't remember if Alicia has mentioned anything about it, I vaguely remember something in one of the first season episodes but I couldn't tell you verbatim what was said

Has anyone mentioned that the Long-Nose Chick (Tinella Nosa) is voiced by the show's creator, Dana Terrace?

It’s fascinating to see Hunter acknowledge and admire Willow as one of the strongest witches he’s ever met, without knowing all the personal growth she underwent to become the confident, independent witch she is today, which made the revelation that, like him, she was also seen as half-a-witch hit even harder. Another interesting tidbit, the Golden Guard sigil on his cloak is similar to the emblem on the Gravesfield, Connecticut sign in “Yesterday’s Lie”.

The fun thing about the author storyline is that all of their theories were real fan theories that spurred from people trying to figure out how/why Azura existed in the demon realm xD. It's all basically one joking prod at fans
