Kids voices naturally get deeper as they age, that’s not something they can help. Your voice doesn’t just drop once during puberty and stay the same for the rest of your life, your voice typically continues to deepen, even after puberty, until your an adult.

Another interesting tidbit, the Golden Guard sigil on his cloak is similar to the emblem on the Gravesfield, Connecticut sign in “Yesterday’s Lie”.
