It's Alicia's analysis on the characters that does it for me. Mind you I started OP in high school and at the time didn't really think and process certain things the way I do now. I have such a deep appreciation for a lotta things in my life now that I'm thankful. Franky and Robin are my One Piece OTP.

You know... re-watching all of One Piece alongiside Alicia not only has helped me refresh my memory on some of these earlier arcs but it has also helped to better understand certain characters... When i watched One Piece for the first time by myself i didn't thought much of Franky's character... i thought he was cool and hilarious but not much else, he remained stuck in the middle of my StrawHats Ranking.... but seeing all of this once again has given me a new-found appreciation on his character, as well as other minor characters like the Galley-La Company Members and the Franky Family.

Just two minor things. With Rob Lucci, I thought seeing a bit of how ruthless he was at 13 she'd be slightly unsettled. As for Buster Call, upon knowing the severity and damage it can do Alicia is really simple minded about it.

Yeah Franky is actually the first member of the Straw Hats that has true leadership experience over a group of people through crisis situations. Usopp wanted to be pirate captain, but all he'd done before meeting Luffy was more akin to babysitting. Franky truly knows what it means to be a captain through his life experience of leading a large gang for many years.
