Straw Hat Episode 304+305

AHHHHH

Straw Hat Episode 304+305

Comments

Age doesn't really matter that much, while One Piece's story has taken only like 3 or so years total, including the time skip, there's no reason they can't say it's been 15 years in the live action by making the time skip longer. They can even make the travel time longer than it's in the original to compensate as well.

I'm following way too many nsfw accounts to use a name here

This assumes that the LA will make it that far. They're not going to be able to make the entire series, if not because of the increasingly costly set pieces and special effects, then simply because the actors will continue to age. They're already under pressure by executives to start cutting corners for Season 2. At some point, it's just going to be more practical for the LA series to become less of a retelling of the entire series, and more of a primer to draw interest to the original story, be it the original anime, or the Wit Studios version.

We just know Gear Third in the live action will look disgusting as hell when luffy bloats up, however I wonder how they're gonna do Gear Second :P like how will they do the speed of Soru and Luffys Jet- Attacks

Alicia and Luffy sharing the same brain cell is never not hilariously fun.

Love the intro at the end of the video. Masterfully done.

Gurth-Quake

i hope you read this Alicia, you know now that you aren't beating the allegations that you are oda now right xD

the pillow

For a couple of frames, you can see Luffy's hair spiking out like Goku. Considering many consider Lucci to be his "Vegeta", it's fitting.

UltramanUltimo

You prayed to Oda, and Oda listened.

HEY. eren Yeager does the luffy bite.

I love how this episode is where Luffy "learns" what his role on the ship is. He finds the biggest, most dangerous enemy there is, and then keeps them occupied with a fight. And then. He. WINS. Much like Zorro, Luffy role is to not lose fights. Ever. No-one else on the ship has that role, which is why everyone else gets to run around and do other important /tactical /clever shit. (or lose fights, creating narrative tension) This has always basically been the case, but I love watching him internalize and solidify it here. He cannot lose. If he cannot lose a fight, then his crew is safe, That's his 'Job'. Love it.

"He killed 500 hostages?! Is that allowed?!" asked the guy currently helping carpet bomb one of the governments most important islands, filled with thousands of marines, because the local nepo-baby couldn´t differentiate between his work-phone and the nuke-everything phone.

It's actually not cuts luffys body being made of rubber allows him to blow his body up like a balloon mans a genius battle master

dragon emperor ry

The amount of power behind that blow must be mind blowing, given it's adding the "strength of a giant" on top of Luffy's already high physical power. Lucci initially thought it was just an intimidation tactic like a pufferfish but as he clearly found out, that was no bluff. It's only by plot armor that he didn't drown after trying to tank a blow like that...which begs the question of the strength of real giants.

UltramanUltimo

i know these are some very dramatic episodes, but i still just can't get over how drippy Luffy's shorts are
