I like that Katsuma got the Deku "moved before he could think" moment, but I absolutely loved that Mahoro actively chose to fight Nine (although she didn't get as much of a dramatic moment, since she needed to be saved and was the catalyst for Katsuma's moment). I just wanted to give her props for being so brave for her brother :D

2024-04-27 02:32:37 +0000 UTCAlways loved this movie and you hit just about every point as to why. It had plenty of slow points as of eased you into the conflict. My favorite thing is just how everyone was used for the movie, the whole class was here and each had a role to play which is always amazing to see. That ending especially, it might be a little clique or silly given how it resolves the OfA thing but it's just awesome seeing these two using OfA together.

Which would have stuck in another show, but you can't have 15 year olds killing people in your shonen anime. (To be specific, direct impact Howitzer to the face on Mummy and "freeze you to your very core" on Chimera def should result in death. Getting hit by Dark Shadow Ragnorak and crushed by 2 tons of rocks... also probably death.)

The Deku giving One for All to Bakugou to defeat the final All For One like villain character was an original ending idea for the series by the author. He scrapped it, but thought it was too good just to throw away, so he put it in this movie. It's like a (The series could have ended this way), sort of deal.
