Tbf to Gus’ killmonger haircut he is obsessed with humans and when he saw every black character in human media with that haircut he was going to get it. It might be a bit meta and unintentional but I think it still works great for Gus

2024-11-25 23:53:25 +0000 UTCwhen this came out, i was with ma partner at the time, he knew nothing about it, but he saw me watching it and got interested. so then we binged it together and became our favourite season.. i haven't been able to properly fully watch it since we broke up, especially the last 3 episodes, I'm really glad you've watched this series, made me feel better about watching, and even persuaded me to subscribe on patron for once, witch never done before.. fun fact: the first word of the title of each episode in season 3 says: "thanks for watching" and I couldn't agree more, thanks for watching this series, it still continues to be my favourite after everything.

When translated, they spell out two messages. Season 1: "TWO WITCHES TORN APART NOW ALONE, TWO HEARTS OF STONE. A CURSE OF FEATHERS AND MUD, A BETRAYAL OF BLOOD." Season 2: "SEETHING SEAS AND PUPPET STRINGS, HE NO LONGER DREAMS OF KINGS. AS ABOVE RUSH DARKENED SKIES, AS BELOW HIS FATHER LIES."

The last season as a whole was responsible for ruining a lot of the main characters, but I won’t go into details here in case someone who hasn’t seen it yet wants to give it a shot.

2024-05-02 06:46:06 +0000 UTCIm just noticing this detail… but it seems that life it’s going too well for Boscha in the future, she’s just running a small Grudgeby stand with a angry expression still on her face… That’s a little sad to think about, it seemed she wanted to be a big Grudgeby player but didn’t succeed somehow… and now she seems bitter with how things are… if she at least had a more softer expression I could say “well, maybe her childhood goal didn’t come true but at least she has become more relaxed and learn to live happily with what life throws her way”… But the expression on her face tells me that she is still living kinda miserably… which is really sad. She’s still very young so I’m just gonna hope that somewhere down the line she does find happiness someway. So…. Because this last season was cut short they couldn’t made a Hidden Runic Message this time, however Dana Terrace and her team were still able to make a message with the titles of the episodes… although because there’s only 3 they had to use the first word instead of the first letter. And the Final Owl House Hidden Message is: “THANKS FOR WATCHING” Finally… when it comes to what western show to react next… I personally recommend you start with either Gravity Falls or Amphibia. Doing Gravity Falls first is the more natural choice because One… it was the predecessor of both The Owl House and Amphibia which were all the big Disney cartoons of the 2010’s (well technically Star vs The Forces of Evil was also one the big Disney cartoons but… we don’t talk about Star anymore so forget about it). And Second… because the Creator of Gravity Falls is Alex Hirsch, who is the voice of both King and Hooty. He was also the boyfriend of Owl House’s Creator Dana Terrace (they’re not together anymore as far as my knowledge goes). But Amphibia is also good choice to follow up this show… after all they were Sister Shows (Amphibia started airing in 2018 and TOH in 2019). Both choices are Great.

2024-04-30 17:06:45 +0000 UTCI'd love to see you react to either Gravity Falls or Steven Universe! Steven Universe has its flaws, but you could say it walked so Owl House could run. Same with Gravity Falls in a lot of ways. But even though I don't have much of a personal attachment to Adventure Time, it's also a great choice that helped pave the way for all of them. You can't go wrong. Arin Hanson provided the voice for King's dad and I can't think of a role better suited to him.

2024-04-29 23:39:37 +0000 UTCOne of the core themes of The Owl House has revolved around forging your own path, which is perfectly encapsulated by the Titan quoting Eda’s message about “choosing yourself”. And Luz ultimately triumphed over Belos because, unlike Philip, she outgrew her desperate need to be the hero of her story and instead forged meaningful connections, which ironically allowed her to become a true hero. Luz and the denizens of The Boiling Isles will always have a special place in my heart (and adjacent bile sac) and perhaps in the future we might see them again in some form or another. But until then, BYEEEE!!!

2024-04-29 22:57:33 +0000 UTCI would recommend Gravity Falls next. It's a great story and a fun watch with an almost morbid sense of humor at times. The other two you mentioned, Steven Universe and Adventure Time, are extremely long and can drag at times. Of those two, Adventure Time is overall more fun with such extreme highs and lows that it becomes LSD in show format.
