But second, Megumin's panic face after she got caught with Darkness made me realize that I would kill to see you watch even just one episode of Asobi Asobase. That shit is unhinged. Even by Konosuba standards.

2024-05-25 01:40:37 +0000 UTCIt's because contrary to a lot of anime, there are actual fully fleshed characters despite their comedic quirks, not just a walking trope/plot device. The crew isn't there to highlight the main character or give him what he needs when the plot says it's time for it. They are all at the same level of dumb yet powerful, have much more personality and humanity than their one "running joke", and all feel like they are on equal footing from a reader/watcher's perspective despite Kazuma being the MC. The main difference is that in Konosuba, what's interesting is not "what happens" more than how they react and interact with each other while it's happening, and it keeps a nice balance of predictability and wild curveballs.

I mean. in most shows I would have gotten tired of it but in case of Konusaba - the longer it went on the more I enjoy their crazy adventures and aloof charachters. Great reaction and good luck with the Tooth well I guess the hard parts over but take care.
