the problem with asking if they would be ok if it was directed at them is most of the time people in that situation would be ok and even prefer it most of the time maybe not the yelling, but as an autistic person who has been told over and over to treat or speak to people how you want to be treated it is incredibly frustrating being told this over and over again we are but you find it offensive or wrong

2024-07-21 10:32:54 +0000 UTC15:55. I am socially inept. I crave for friendship and companionship, and I'll say things all the time that I consider appropriate even if it was said to me. But as it turns out, things I consider being said to me are not always seen as the same way by everyone else. I've made a lot of people hate me because of a misconception, and as one with social anxiety, those thoughts of rejection haunt me over, and over, and over again, nonstop.
