one of the biggest aspects to becoming successful online is luck I can totally understand someone wanting to be a corporate vtuber because it removes the initial luck barrier and lets you get a solid fan base immediately, not to mention corporate protection from harassment and YouTube randomly deleting your channel.

Fun fact : the fan that says "he was talking to me!" when the boy band is on stage is voiced by Alex Hirsch's twin sister, who was obsessed with boy bands when they were kids.

When it comes to Robbie my first guess is that he just forgot about his hang out with Wendy and didn’t want to admit it. He seems inattentive when it comes to other people even those he likes like Wendy and really takes her for granted. Typical angsty teen junk, I think Wendy giving him the boot is a much needed wake up call for him

end credits code, please don't post answer. I suggest that people not just google the code. This one is fun and you can do it yourself. A is 1 and Z is 26. (A1Z26 cipher) "8-1-16-16-25 14-15-23, 1-18-9-5-12?"

Always tried to headcanon what Robbie looked up to find the song. I’m hoping it’s just “song to win girl’s heart” or something and not something more devious. Even without the subliminal messaging, the main song is about how the girl will be hypnotized by the song to fall for him.
I do like the idea that the cd case was Robbie’s OG design though. That case looked sick.

The creator, Alex Hirsch, clarified in the episode commentary that the original idea behind the Robbie plotline here was that Wendy wasn't being controlled at all. Yes, there was a subliminal message on the cd (like many have in real life), but Robbie didn't know about it, and it wasn't even affecting Wendy at all. Dipper was just being paranoid. Thus, both boys messed up their chances with Wendy: Robbie, by ripping off a song and lying to her about having written it himself, and Dipper, by letting his jealousy & paranoia get the better of him, and going out of his way to ruin their relationship.Unfortunately, they failed to clarify that in the final episode, so it comes across like Robbie essentially roofied Wendy…

The Nsync references run deep. The creator Alex Hirsch did this in part because his twin sister Ariel loved Nsync growing up, so this was a love letter for her. The episode even had Lance Bass voice the clones for this episode. Ariel also voiced a little girl at the concert and got to meet Lance because of it. Alex is a sweet brother.
Dunno if people brought it up, but the show is pseudo based on Hirsch’s own time spending summers with his grandfather with his sister when they were kids in Oregon. So yeah, a lot of things hit close to home because it’s based on personal experiences.

My sister loved BB I respect them a 100 times more than just about any other boy and from the 90-00, n-sync was ok but the one I could not stand was Westlife.
