2024-08-20 21:33:01 +0000 UTCThe scene where Zoro got held down by one of the fishman and Usopp doing nothing but yelling his name is completely anime cannon. In the manga Zoro slashed Hordy then got out of the water immeidately. Also the scene where Usopp asking how the king is doing was also not in the manga. One last thing when Jimbei told them about it was him releasing Arlong, in the manga they only show Nami with a surprised reaction there was no others reactions including Luffy.

I blame both, when it comes to the Arlong vs Jimbei question you ask at the end. Arlong is obviously responsible for what he did, and what he ordered his men to do. But with the info you have so far, Jimbei is also to blame. Not in the details, but he shares overall responsibility for what happened. "Letting Arlong & crew loose" sounds *fairly* hands-off. While implying that he COULD have done something to stop them, but chose not to. Which is fucked up to think about it.

I am however not attracted to scales so that's probably why I find boa more attractive. (But Robin and Nami are definitely above both boa and shirahoshi though)

We are now in a time where the anime often prolongs fights way too much to get more content for the episode making the straw hats look less trained than they should be.

Sanji turned around to look at the Princess, even as Chopper yelled it would kill him. Both were men who accepted their deaths, because not doing so would dishonor their dreams. So why is it that I only respect one of those two cases?
