Thing is, the villains won this season because Butcher's a goddamn moron blinded by his vendetta

The more villains win the more I start to agree with Butcher and get red of them all if it's what it takes

Thing is the showriters don't even acknowledge that either, hughey's been sexually abused and raped essentially this series and they made a big joke out of it, to the point he fist pumps in celebration for being forgiven for it.
Not to mention poor old M.M. being constantly on the recieving end of love sausage.

One way that I feel like the show fails a little is that the world doesn't seem to truly *react* to the presence of super-powered threats: we never see any research being conducted outside of the Boys themselves (or Vought, in the case of the virus) in anti-supe technology.
It doesn't even need to be able to injure supes, but it should show that the threat is being taken seriously: there's no reason that Secret Service should be stuck using peashooters when there's a credible threat of a Supe assassin.
Hell, in the Luke Cage netflix series, a gangster had a kludged-together six-barreled shotgun to fight back against Cage. Not because it would kill him, but because it might knock him on his ass for a moment.

Dude the dumbest thing in this serais that's been going on since season one. They just can't learn guns don't work

Honestly, I think they meant that she was invulnerable by normal means, most supes have a bit of super strength and with that a bit of durability so Kimiko's strength isn't much to go off of since her main power is her regeneration. I believe the supes on the team could hurt and possibly kill her but never did because of the risk with her power, notice how one of the first things butcher did with his tenacles was cover her eyes.

Yeah, Grace drove me nuts in that scene. Also, she's kinda reaping what she sowed by not taking the time to train Ryan how to use his powers safely during the time that she had custody of him, before Homelander took him.

I agree that Annie's initial response is understandable, given what she just went through, but some of the fanbase reaction to this has been crazy.
They take "Annie is justified in feeling angry because she is dealing with trauma" and jump straight to "Hughie was entirely in the wrong because he should've known that wasn't Annie!", completely ignoring that the shifter has *all* of Annie's memories, and Hughie has no reason to suspect that they have that capability.
Hughie is a rape victim by any metric: he thought he was having sex with Annie, but was instead having sex with a malevolent stranger, and it's crazy that some fans refuse to acknowledge that.

100% earned what happened to her. (Not saying she morally earned it or anything, just that obviously this would be the conclusion when you corner the 14yo and shatter his worldview randomly. That would be anxiety-inducing for any adult, let alone a kid that's already dealing with trauma)

I mean... you disliking the character doesn't mean they're badly written. It's shitty to do, yes; but it's not abnormal for a person to behave like she did after all that.

I saw the fact that Butcher killed Neuman so fast as a showcase of just how powerful he is now. Remember Zoe had enough power to rip off Kimiko's arm with her tentacles and Butcher knocked her out in one hit.
Then, the supe the whole crew with CIA funds tried to kill for months on end to the point when they might have needed to consider she's invulnerable, just got ripped in half by two of those tendrils. It's clear that parasite is as strong as Butcher was on Temp V ( fighting on par with HL for a little ), add higher mobility and number of "limbs" plus the virus, and Butcher is much more dangerous than his Temp V self now. Hence, the final shot of him driving in the dark of winter felt like an "angel of death" type of atmosphere, which was awesome.
P.S: I saw this somewhere and I don't think it's been confirmed, but Starlight might be able to draw out power from sunlight now, which is why she took off at such high speed. And if that's the case, she's one of the big shots now.

I really enjoyed this finale, but this season was definitely the weakest. There was so much that could have been cut from this season and nothing important would have been lost

Yeah everyone is having a shit time, but she acts like it’s only her. When she gets mad at Hughie she doesn’t take in consideration about his feelings and the emotions he has to process from learning that the girl he proposed to and fucked multiple times wasn’t actually Annie. She acted self centred and acted like she was the only victim

Bro, starlights been going through hell, all the characters are going through hell and mental breakdowns, have you not been paying attention? shes emotional and overreacted after essentially being tortured for a week, you're acting like you would act perfectly in every situation, when everyones living day to day wondering if theyre about to die any moment

Ryan did not enjoy killing Mallory. He did the same thing he did when he killed storm front. He emotionally shut himself down because he can't process the trauma right away. So instead of feeling sad he feels nothing.

I hate Grace. They could have had Ryan on their side. Instead she wanted to rush and manipulate him without understanding that he's literally just a kid! He'd be way too unstable after dumping all that on him. And now that he killed her he has emotionally shut down until he can go somewhere and cry his heart out.

Watching the entire season made me think how cool it would have been had the shapeshifter been Annie the entire season, which would have explained her being unable to use her powers as the shapeshifter can only copy appearances and not powers.

I’m gonna nitpick a bit, it’s not genocide, the supes aren’t like X-men where a mutated gene causes their powers, it’s a chemical reaction.

Nah annie’s writing this season has been pretty horrible. Especially in this episode, Being mad at Hughie for having sex and proposing to the shape shifter even though he didn’t know. Not to mention her playing victim in that scene, she just cringe fr
