This should have been the big return of the strawhats after a timeskip but that was realy just left for the latter half with new charcters that still left it a bit vague how much improvement truly happened.

He WANTS to kill every human he sees, but he refuses to. And when it came to the blood transfusion, part of him WANTED to accept the human blood, be refuses to. He couldn't fight his hatred this ONE time, and THAT'S what kills him! It's TOO good! It's Rough, but soooo good!

And honestly, I don't think her strategy by itself will work against a corrupt system like the government and the celestial dragons. You need people like Fisher Tiger doing direct action as well, and it's perfect that he's doing it in the name of liberation rather than killing for revenge. There are plenty of humans in the world who hate the world nobles too, and I want to believe that Tiger earned some of their respect as well. Of course, I'm sure those in power would lie about him and paint him as a villain.

2024-08-12 20:27:07 +0000 UTCwhat you noticed of the beginning of the episode about stuff re-occuring is the prime example of one piece horrible pacing fishman island arc is like THE arc with one of the worst pacing next to some other upcoming arcs, but not all of them. IDK what was back then with TOEI studios to do that with stretching,repeating and making the pacing bad. Like, was it some sorta economical reasons for their animators or just for oda to relax a bit so the anime doesnt get caught up with the manga or even both of said reasons or something entirely else? Fact is Fishman island arc is for many one of the most boring arcs in One Piece sadly, THE LORE ITSELF on paper like you read the manga or on a wiki a summary is crazy and exciting but the arc itself has been kinda dumped by TOEI. Thats why many peoples hopes are for the remake of one piece to negate that and make a better paced show :"The One Piece" which just recently announced for WiT studios what directors/lead artists we are gonna get, if any of yall have seen the news, and so far it looks promising. Basically for anyone that wishes to start one piece NOW and isnt at the middle like alicia i'd recommend to wait for the remake!

I personally don't think it's a spoiler is what I am saying.

Many of them hate this arc, but are the Arlongs and the Hordy Jones in this arc. . . And while I understand them this whole arc fell on deaf ears with them. This arc on a themes level is one of my favourite arcs truly.

Gently pushing your idea, it takes long (long) time but either it gets gentle pushback or none at all since it's so slow people don't notice it at beginning.
