2024-08-15 20:06:27 +0000 UTCi agree, that moment where Cheadle snaps at Pariston after he resigns is goated, Ikue Otani really popped off in her performance, to the point that every time i think of Cheadle my mind inmediately goes back to that moment. I would even say that that moment is better than any performance Ikue has done as the voice of Chopper......... but that's just me tho. Also.... you gotta respect Togashi and the anime team for commiting on making a full 10-minute Monologue about the Soul and the power it holds. it's the kind of stuff you don't see in every anime or manga.

2024-08-14 20:19:29 +0000 UTCI've watched hxh dozens of times and not once have I ever laughed at the koalas monolog. To me it's a pretty serious conversation that deserves attention. Not everything has to be a joke or laughed at just because it's kind of a ridiculous thing. Just makes me feel like yall don't care about what is being said and that just hurts especially with this being so close to the end.

2024-08-14 18:18:18 +0000 UTCOne slight nitpick I have with the translation I guess it's weird but basically I feel Nanika is actually a beautiful sounding name maybe it translates to something but I feel at least when Killua and Alluka talk about her it should definitely be Nanika even Deku used to mean worthless before Midoriya changed its meaning

2024-08-14 17:11:13 +0000 UTCOh thank god I hate being one of those asking about shows on posts unrelated but I was fiending these episodes so hard so I suffer from what I call MC syndrome where in most media I consume the character that is supposed to be the main always ends up being my favorite characters you know one of the few where that's not the case its Hunter x Hunter and why because Killua much like that he did to that guy way back when stole my heart specifically in this final arc of the show I still love Gon but Killua is the best

The View of the Zoldyk family viewing them as purely Nanika and Killua's view of Alluka needing freed from Nanika is resolved with Her identity being intertwined with both aspects of herself. Her Identity being 2 spirit allows for narrative cohesion other identities don't allow by focusing on a single personage as opposed to her multiple personage.
