Before whoever reads this I just wanted to say that despite what I'm going to write down Alicia can say and feel whatever she wants to say or feel about whatever she's reacting to but I'm not going to lie it's been kinda exhausting watching her rants on Sharley because she acts like Sharley is some bitch with petty personal beef or something against Luffy. She saw a vision that showed Luffy, a extremely wanted pirate who's only positive traits known to her at the time was that he didn't immediately commit any crimes on the island and that some mermaids were cool with him, destroying Fishman Island. What does she want her to do in that situation? Not tell everyone that there is a very serious potential problem that may hurt all of her people? Especially when Sharley has been stated to never been wrong about a vision before. I'm sorry about this rant but she usually make these reactions very interesting and enjoyable to watch but man it sucks to see her act so petty against Sharley over this plot point especially when it's a big and recurring part of the arc. And before anyone comments about how I'm a simp for Sharley or something I don't even really care for the character it's just hard to get any enjoyment out of watching the reaction when Alicia is going out of her way and even stopping the show to shit on her so hard for doing something that, at least to me, only makes sense.

Honestly, could she just let a serious moment be serious? Why is she constantly talking over the actually important events, or making inappropriate jokes to "lighten" the mood of a scene that's not meant to be taken lightly? It's honestly starting to come across as mockery. I'm here for reactions, impressions, and insights, not for a running commentary and inane rants about side characters because they have precognitive abilities. She's been mostly good so far - aside from her take on Skypeia - but sometimes, she's just off her game. Not particularly. One, he invaded their ship during the voyage, two, they had him securely imprisoned and only lost him when the New Fishman Pirates forced them to take a desperate maneuver to get to the island, which threw everything into chaos, and three, the mermaids who opened the barrel even acknowledged that it was probably the Straw Hat's barrel, considered whether they should actually open it, and then opened it anyway. It was bad circumstances all around, but the Straw Hats legitimately had the threat contained until the fishmen and merfolk got involved.

From the fishman's prespective: Pirate's (who sold your kind and only think about themselves.) Showed up kidnapped mermaids and the princeness. Shirley has mistrust. From the strawhat's prospective: which is the way this is frame, they have reshaped the way past, present, and future situations are viewed.
