THIS IS WHY. He might not be the best boyfriend, but the moments where he seemingly forgets conversations might not have been him just ignoring her. He very well could've gotten mind wiped beyond just the one we saw

2024-08-21 14:54:58 +0000 UTCTo vindicate Alicia, it’s confirmed via a coded message at the end Bud Gleeful deleted Gideon’s tantrums from his memories, so yeah, Bud was not parenting Gideon properly which likely led to his development. On the flip side, given McGucket started to use the memory gun around 30 years ago, it’s likely he lost his mind while his son was a child. Dunno if I’d have a strong relationship with my dad if he ended up crazy due to erasing his memory, which he might not have even realized is what happened. It’s unclear how shrewd his son is.

It’s the process of boiling usually veggies or fruit for a short time and then quickly putting it in cold water to stop the cooking process and preserve the state of the food. Also yeah poor Mcgucket, but at least he can start to pick things up again.
