I'm not saying they didn't have factual reasons to be angry. I'm saying they didn't have factual reasons to be angry at the designated target (an entire race that had factually nothing to do with their suffering).

Nah, Weimar Germany (the period immediately before the nazi's took power) was actually really shit for a lot of people, massive poverty, sky high crime rates, it really sucked. The nazi's just spun things to lay the blame entirely on their "Undesirables". But there were real reasons to be angry and hateful.

Alicia generational hatred is not that obvious a topic for teenagers(The core audience), especially ones that haven't grown up experiencing it. Most people probably did expect that he had some grand motivation. Plus it's also for the characters not just the audience

You'd be surprised at how many viewers were SHOCKED at the Hordy revelation! A whole lot of people don't understand how generational hatred works. For some, this twist even RUINED the arc for them! They thought it would be better if Hordy had a strong reason for his hate. They thought he needed to be at least somewhat relatable to the masses.
But they are missing the entire point of the arc IMO. Oda's not making a "racism is bad" arc. He's always so much more nuanced than that. He was making a warning specifically against the dangers of generational hatred. And how if we don't strive to be a better example to show the ones that come after us, this exact scenario can and does happen, as their children get dragged into a cult-like fascist mindset.
This is exactly how the Nazis were born. They weren't at all driven by revenge over some factual traumatic oppression that individually hurt them in any way. They were driven into a frenzy by manufactured fake oppression that their leaders concocted and repeated until they believed it. The Nazis had even less reason than Hordy's crew.
And IMO that level of fanaticism built on nothing but lies is even harder to fight, because you can't even argue against it. There's nothing to even argue with, because it's driven by pure raw emotion devoid of reason in the first place. Given enough time, nothing will remain but a seething rage that is almost guaranteed to lead to violence.

Actually we're not sure if he means 10+Luffy or 10-Luffy, but regardless I think it was a general ideal based on Oda's desire to keep the crew's max size around the size of a soccer/football team. (11 starters)

Luffy shattering Hordy's fin reminded me of when he did the same to Arlong's sword. Except there it was built up more, to show how insane his strength really is. While here the entertainment comes from how fucking FAST he does it!
So! The 6 Moves:
The whole "point" with the 6 Moves (no-one remembers /cares about the real name) is that CP9 members could only qualify if they had mastered ALL 6.
Which is very unusual.
Much like with Haki, normally people focus on mastering one, or possibly two of these.
The fact that there ARE six separate moves, means that knowing one DOES NOT mean that you are a master of all 6. Or even a master of this one.
There was a "newbie" in CP9 that Franky fought on the train, who had only mastered like 5. Maybe only 4.
So again. Knowing one DOES NOT mean you know all 6.
In short:
There is no evidence Sanji knows any other move than Air Hop.
But yes, it's that same one from the 6 Moves.

the "reveal" wasn't for us but for the characters themselves. keep in mind every instance of hate towards humans that has been seen thus far by the Ryugu Kingdom has stemmed from actual prejudice and personal discrimination. Hordy and his crew are the first known cases of generational racism being passed down to the youth, which is why it shocks them to their core. It wasn't for viewers, it was a reveal for Fishman Island.

Alicia, Luffy never told Jinbei he wants 10 members on his crew, you probably got confused when he was counting on his fingers but Luffy was remembering his crew in reaction to what Jinbei said about what he has left after losing his brother. Also, Luffy wants about 10 members, so it could be less or more than and if Jinbei joined, that would be 9 members since Luffy never counted himself.

Something I haven´t realized before he jumped in front of her, is that Manboshi seems to almost always be the first of the brothers to look out for Shirahoshi. He was the one that started dancing when their mother died, and I feel like he is generally the one that is the first to mention her. Which might track with him being the second youngest.

I'd say that the fact that Alicia called Hordy's motivation immediately is evidence that he is a well-written character and that the thematic structure of this arc is well-built. And this "reveal" might be obvious to Alicia, who is familiar and an activist for social issues, but we shouldn't forget that One Piece is still targetted towards teens and pre-teens. So Oda did a good job in distilling down the social issues so that even a kid can understand them without overcomplicating everything.

That reveal was for the characters who didn't know about Hordy's identity, not for the viewer.
Also, as others have pointed out, this part of the manga was written during a time when folks thought racism was dead. We all know now that it never died, but back when this arc was making the rounds, a lot of folks didn't get it.

It may not seem as huge a reveal to you but when this arc was coming out. Most Japanese people didn't understand that racism can be inherented with nothing happening to the individual. While it may not be as big or earth shattering, it works for hordy cause like his power everything he is, is a hollow shell.

Yeah I've heard some crazy shit like people talking about how they hate being around black people and it's like what did black people do to you and they say shit about the economy or criminals or just say they hate the smell of them. Totally disgusting things. (I wish I was kidding about the part where someone once told me they "don't like how they smell" but, but that was something I was told in person by another human who actually thought it was a justifiably excuse for hating them)

Alicia I'm glad you picked up on Hordy being just generational hatred but sadly the 'revelation' was more for the fans who are for lack of better terms. Morons. I remember when thus aired A LOT of people coped that Hordy was probably an Orphan born of Slaves etc etc etc. Some people truly believe people who hate cause they hear it from adults don't exist sadly

It's sad, but people still think this arc is bad just because it tackled this subject. I remember listening to a podcast a while ago and they hated this arc because they thought it was justifying racism by pointing out that people who are oppressed can become racists filled with nothing as well, needless to say I disagree, but people are just all over about this arc.

Alicia you have no idea how many people were back when this was first revealed were like "Nothing? How boring, that makes no sense!" Not knowing that people like Hordy have existed since the dawn of racism. Back when this first came out systematic racism wasn't such a talked about issue and for a lot of people they thought "racism was over why do we need to talk about it?" My god I can't tell you how many people said that they hated this arc for being preachy and racism doesn't need to be talked about because we all know not to be racist. Oda clearly knew his audience were idiots so he spelled things out for them and STILL they didn't get it.

Yeah for sure. Like for the entire arc, we've been dealing with people who have very, very legitimate lived trauma's fueling their biases and hatreds.
We the viewers can see Hody is a product of their environment, but it must come as a real shock to the princes, or to Jinbe that such virulent hatred could arise in someone who hasn't experienced any such hardships. Otohime said as much, but seeing those predictions come to reality with such intensity toward even other fishmen is wild.

You are absolutely right and saw the themes of Fishman Island so early, but not a lot of people did back in good ol' 2012. That and it was also a way to tell the citizens of Fishman Island that their racism created Hody and his gang. They have some fault in making that kid into the adult that terrorized his nation.
