I don't think it's a show that enough of us would vote on or redeem, so I think it would have to be something she chooses to watch herself. To which, I DO think you have a point. 2024-08-31 21:29:20 +0000 UTCIt should be noted that even if people get upset about your paranoia sometimes, this is the perfect show to be paranoid about, trust me when I say that everyone had theories like "Is Ford actually still possessed?" while the show was airing. A lot of them were pretty wacky in retrospect but this is Gravity Falls' intended effect.

If you boil down each of our actions all of them were in some way to benefit ourselves. Every noble act offers a reward even if it is just feelings and chemicals in our head. It is really hard to discredit, but I like to believe the theory is incorrect somehow.

2024-08-31 20:47:49 +0000 UTCHere is the trick. Drink a LOT of water 1 hour before you go to donate. I'm what is called a "hard stick" to where if I didn't drink much water lately my veins are impossible to hit. Being hydrated helps a ton, and I've had a dozen nurses tell me so.

I don’t mean to come off as rude, but the world today revolves around the universal rule of give and take. If you want something, you give something up to get it. Don’t get me wrong, I believe in higher powers and all that, but even in the Egyptian pantheon, one can only access the afterlife through their merits. Good deeds and an honest life grant you eternal peace, dishonestly and greed grants you your heart getting devoured by a monster and never accessing their heaven.

Faith is supposed to be choice and belief, not out of what you get out of it and certainly not as a magical cure to a life threatening illness. That said, love this episode. Most of the time Mabel’s subplots aren’t that entertaining to me, but my God does it deliver here. Mabel and crew wrecking pretentious unicorns is magic.
