In fact, I know that there is a myth going around where some people retroactively thought that joker was first mentioned pre-timeskip, which is not true, as some sort of Mandela effect. Even the wiki cites ch.664/ep.589 as the first mentioning of Joker. You are welcome to tell me a chapter/episode as reference, though, if that's not the case. It's probably better not to discuss too many details in comments to avoid spoilers or hints.
