2024-09-05 03:58:12 +0000 UTCShe was scared and hurt and running away from reality, literally the whole point of the episode was Mabel was lying to herself and hiding so she didn't have to face the bad things that were going on in her life. Mabel is one of the kindest people in the series, shes not ignoring the people outside the bubble because she wants to, shes pulled herself inward. Not to mention it's made obvious that Bill messed with her mind a little to keep her distracted until she finally accepted the reality she was hiding from.

The entire Mabeland situation, including Dippy Fresh, was a scared, hurt kid lying to herself to try and hide from reality, along with a blend of Bill messing with her head. She wasn't replacing Dipper, she was running from her problems and made up an exaggerated, false escape fantasy to protect her from everything and everyone that was hurting her, even Dipper. Yeah Mabel made a few mistakes, but Weirdmageddon wasn't her fault, it was a combination of Ford, Dipper, Mabel and Bill, majorly Bill because he literally lied to a 12 year old at her lowest point to get what he wants and then shoved her in a fantasy world.

2024-09-04 17:28:18 +0000 UTCDippy fresh was just too far for me tbh I could never imagine replacing my sister with a yes man version of her because we disagreed she is a child it gets a pass but the whole concept is so fucked to me that I can’t help but look at Mabel in a negative way I love her but in the series she has mad very big mistakes that cased a lot of problems or even death at some point it’s her fault and people need to understand that just as dipper has done things that is his fault

As they were escaping, Dippy Fresh would’ve told Dipper “your hats on backwards!” because he wears it normal, to which Dipper says “Your HEAD is on backwards!” and outright twists Dippy Fresh’s head 180 degrees.
