I love Hinata since he's an underdog type, but you're right that's he's so naïve about volleyball. He's only ever practiced jumps and spikes, but that's also not his fault when he was the only club member and had no one to practice with. I've seen people also get mad at Kageyama for the things he says to Hinata, but Kageyama isn't wrong in what he's saying, he's just tactless. He's arrogant, yes, but he's good at what he does.

This show does a pretty good job of explaining volleyboll as a game so that even total noobs, such as myself, can understand. Pretty much all i know about the sport comes from watching this anime lmao, but i love hearing about the smaller things that you point out that the show doesn't bring up because it's not necessarily relevant. I look forward to rewatch this with you!!!
